Vivid made me Livid,
I purchased 9 doors from Vivid spending a significant amount of money. When delivered one of the glazed oak doors was completely destroyed and the back of of the courier van was carnage. According to the Vivid courier "the doors had not been stropped in correctly". Additionally the receipt signature of my Wife was forged by the Courier. The severely damaged door was taken away by the courier and the catastrophically damaged door replaced in good order. Approximately 5-days after delivery the remaining 8 doors were inspected by my Joiner before fitting began and 4 of the remaining doors were damaged(scratches & gouges) to varying degrees. This was reported to Vivid (verbally & e-mail). After a number of exchanges Vivid management refused to replace the damaged doors, stating that more than 48-hours had elapsed since delivery. If they can be bothered to reply to this, I am sure they will hide behind this clause but I consider it a total disregard of Consumer Rights and value of Customer Service. This awful experience has cost me hundreds of extra pounds to rectify and if I could score less than 1 star I would. In future, I will be using a better known supplier who respects Consumer Rights, has a proper replacement of damaged goods policy and uses a reliable courier and packages their goods properly. I also wish I reviewed Trust Pilot prior to purchase.
