Refused to by my car because it was previously registered a diplomatic vehicle. Gave no reason or explanation. Useless company, vasting my time. They mention resale restrictions and company policy making it inpossible to buy formerly registered diplomatic vehicles. This BS, there are no restrictions on selling that kind of vehicles. If it is their policy, they should inform about it in advance, not waste the customers time.
This was an experlent way to sell my car quickly and easily. Connor Mountain was particularly helpful in this process after I had filled in the online questionnaire. Everything went smoothly and the payment was promptly maid before the vehicle was driven away. Many thanks to the whole team

It was really easy to do, smooth transaction. very nice people. Answered any questions and paid instantly. Would highly recommend these. My car didn’t get picked up so I took it in and they arranged transport for me home, really thoughtful.

They don't deal with old second hand cars. This review is edited: After this review they called me to try to make me an offer for the car and probably remove the review. They offered me £300 for the car.... I'm sure Nathan was just doing his job like the first agent ( Rana ) but they are doing it wrong. Looking to make a huge profit from desperate or in need of cash customers. Avoid them like the plague or get the money that your used car is worth to you... you might even get lucky if tour car is not very old or have a profitable value for them.

Really impressed regards my experience selling a car to The Car Buying Group. They were extremely helpful, answered the phone quickly and gave me a much better price than "WBAC.com". The collection service was very efficient and there was no last minute price reduction against what I'd been offered. Thoroughly recommend!
continued harassment from this lot, in particular danny birtles. I've informed the company three times that my car is sold, yet, they continue to call and email. I have reported them to ofcom for harassment.
Following an enquiry with regard to selling my car, Megan Sykes from The car buying group rang me and we had a most pleasant discussion about selling my car and what I would expect to sell it for. After some easy questions and a bit of clarification I was given a price that matched what I was expecting. This part of the process was really nice and easy and Megan was very chatty but very professional. Just how I like to do things. She really did understand my needs. Messaging on the phone was simple and precise and I knew exactly what was happening at every stage. On the day of the sell, Ibrahim contacted me telling me what time he would be getting to me and then phoned me to tell me what time his train would get in. It was easier for us to do the necessary buying/selling at the train station which was done without hassle. The process was thorough with Ibrahim informing the car buying group of everything they needed to know about the car. They did ring me to clarify a point but this was done professionally and I ended up getting the price that I wanted. The money exchange was easy and appeared in my bank account very quickly. From beginning to end the process of selling my car was easy and hassle free. I would thoroughly recommend The car buying group to my family and friends as a way of selling your car. 10/10.
