Absolutely awful. Friendly at first - as stated in other reviews - but when something goes slightly wrong they don’t want to know. They do not update you about a purchase or any changes. They are unkind, impolite and unhelpful. I have had to demand an apology twice. They must only care about money and do not care about being kind, polite or helpful to customers during buying a house - which is known to be a stressful process. Very disappointed that basic manners were not used by Taylor Robinson staff. I have been asked if I will change my review with still no apology
During inspections they reported "tenants are looking after house very well" but their pets ruined the furniture and pissed on the new carpet. It cost me thousands in repair costs. STAY AWAY FROM THOSE CROOKED AGENTS!!!!!!
The volume of 1 star reviews on Trustpilot really do describe our experience. We purchased our house through Taylor Robinson, and unfortunately, the service we received after our offer was accepted was terrible. To begin with, we were never told our point of contact had changed – we only found out after some of my emails were ignored and I ending up calling. We were then looked after by Kelly, who just didn’t seem to care one bit; it was very different from the agent we used to sell our property and the effort they put into looking after our buyer. The worst part of the experience was driving 1.5 hours to come and view the property after it was vacated – they sent an agent to show us around, and we couldn’t get into the property; it turned out they had an old set of keys. I understand mistakes happen, but you would expect an estate agent to have the correct set of keys for a vacant property they’d sold or at least to make an effort to rectify the situation instead of telling us “The sellers are out of the country” just for them to miraculously return and drop off the correct keys a couple of days later. To make matters worse, there was no sort of apology following this – just them trying to justify it by explaining that the locks have been changed – no acceptance that they should have known they held the correct keys before booking a viewing and us driving down. Even on the completion day, we had issues – they phoned once to tell us it was complete. Unfortunately, I missed this call – but you would expect them to understand that we might be busy moving out of our property or driving, so maybe it’s a good idea to phone again on my mobile? Nope, they just sent an email and moved on. Even when arriving at our new property, I was reminded by how little care they had – the set of keys they gave us included the 2 old keys that failed to open the door previously. Had I not known how poor their service was, I would have thought they were having a laugh… You might also expect to receive keys for the garage or at least some sort of explanation that they don’t have them, nope, nothing. We were also given just 1 copy of the keys which is appalling for a house they had sold and contracts had been exchanged over a week prior. They did indeed call us over a week later to say they’d been given more copies but by that point, we’d already changed the locks… do you not believe it was your responsibility to make sure you held all sets of keys before completion, or that it would have been courteous to at least try and get us keys for the garage? No doubt there will be justifications for the above, but everything written is what happened to us which Taylor Robinson had no problem with at the time.

Excellent experience with Taylor Robinson Cheryl was great in saying that she would sell my house within six weeks and she did do that. I found all the team very friendly Kelly absolutely excellent customer service she did far more than she probably should’ve done as I had a lot of issues with the people I was buying from solicitors and she sorted everything out really quickly and was thoroughly on the ball with my situation and the ongoing issues I had with the seller I would highly recommend Taylor Robinson‘s in Crawley.

what an absolute nightmare. they're very friendly initially until you need something. i locked myself out on a friday afternoon, ben said he'd get back to me then the office closed and i left several messages but couldn't get hold of anyone. monday morning ben took it very personal why i was so upset not able to get back in the house and was too busy to meet me with the keys until the afternoon. ben and his staff get very iritated so quickly. created a google account to warn others to stay away from them!!!!!!!!

Very friendly at the beginning, then once I needed something Ben brushes you off to clueless Claire. My tenant stole from my flat and left the furniture in tatters, TR wanted nothing to do with it. What happened to background checks?

very unprofessional! they don't present the house but they open the door for you! I'm not talking about the leaking pipes, the falling roof. in addition, they speak very badly, arrogantly and never answer.

Great Estate Agent- We let out a flat through Taylor Robinson and they are so professional and do things promptly. Ben and Clare are so helpful! In addition to this when we were selling our residential property they were competitively priced and sold for us within 24 hours!

We returned to Taylor Robinson to sell our home they quickly found a buyer, and when we lost the buyer within 48 hours we had another . Nothing was too much. The chain wasn't easy but sales progression kept chasing and going over and behind to keep things moving. Kelly was a superstar !! Thank you. Local firm, local knowledge great service.. its a stressful life changing event but they are always remained postive and upbeat.

Okay, where do I start! Back in April (nearly six months ago) we sold our house and had an offer accepted on a new house being sold through Taylor Robinson. We decided to go with Taylor Robinson solicitors / conveyancing team to manage the legal side of things...Biggest mistake ever!!! We still have not exchanged and to even get any updates from TR conveyancing team, you have to chase them up constantly. At one point it took over 3 weeks to actually get any sort of reply from them, and only after I rang them! They don't bother to chase any documents up and contact the other solicitors unless you ring them. What should be a dream move is turning into a nightmare due to how unprofessional and awful the Taylor Robinson conveyancing team are. They don't give a damn about you. If you are buying a house please please please take heed of this and steer well clear of Taylor Robinson conveyancing team as they are shocking bad.

Over a 5 week period, we viewed multiple properties and finally found one with Taylor Robinson. We put in an offer and the seller excepted. Everything was going fine, we had the surveyors ready, we had a mortgage on the new property and then our buyer pulled out, so we contacted Taylor Robinson to let them know the situation and that our estate agent was contacting the second bidder on our property as we spoke to see if they were interested, which they were. Within half an hour of telling Taylor Robinson. We had an email telling us that we pulled out and the seller wants to go with the second bidder. Alarm bells started ringing as there was no way James the Branch Manager could have called the sellers to let them know we lost our buyer, then contact the second bidder on the seller's property to get a confirmation, then go back to the seller and tell them that the second bidder was interested. So we contacted the sellers and spoke to them directly and this is where the truth comes to light. James lied to the seller telling them we pulled out and weren't interested in the property. Lied to us saying the seller didn't want us to proceed. Then we find out from talking to the sellers that Taylor Robinsons is selling the second bidder's property and they are buying the seller's property. Not only is James a liar but he will find a way to mess up an offer to his benefit. We are now going to the ombudsman as this estate agents need investigating

Honestly the worst most slimey estate agents you will ever find!!!! Unprofessional!!! Told me a house had just come on the market. Apparently I would be the first to view although I wasn’t allowed to view until the end of the week, even though I was ready to offer just from looking at the photos. Then proceeds to phone me back at the end of the day to cancel the viewing because the buyer has accepted an offer from another viewing??? I thought nobody was allowed to view until Friday? And we we ours be the first. Some transparecxy would have gone a long way. We’re a family in need, we all had our hopes up to be left disappointed On another occasion, I’ve offered on a property and had complete silence, no proper communication, lied about telling the tenants the house was being sold too

Awful! I recently had put down an offer on a other property which was looking to fall through, so I applied to view a property to buy with Taylor and Robinson. Long story short our offer got accepted and one of their colleagues took it upon themselves to call up the poor lady we was going to have to drop for obvious reasons and then proceeded to tell her that she should be mad because her estate agents wasn’t looking after her bla bla because she hadn’t been told yet that we was dropping out. Baring in mind they had called her 5 mins after telling us the news!!!! and then told her our NEW address of the property we was buying with them!! Broke GDPR and then lied to us, safe to say they lost the sale and I have stuck it out with the first original buyer. I have never known anything so unprofessional and embarrassing in my life. Pleaseeee go else where and use other estate agents, like Connells ! We will be taking this further and will never use them again.
