Terrible customer service

Terrible customer service. Had a blender within warranty. The seal got chewed up whilst using it and the contents leaked into the main part of the blender. I was not comfortable letting my kids use it knowing the contents were damaged. I contacted SQ PROFEESIONAL the provider as purchased from Amazon. I was initially asked in about 5 emails for proof of purchase which was sent in my initial email with photos of the damaged seal. It appears they do not read the emails and just send the same questions. I was then asked if the motor works. I already explained I was not using it as the contents had leaked into the main part. I am not an electrician, so wouldn’t take it apart, it was clearly broken so was a silly question. I was asked to send it back at my cost for them to check the damage. No mention of fixing it or replacing it. It was a painful process. The blender was £20! Why they couldn’t suggest sending a replacement seal to try or blender I don’t know. It was within warranty. I binned it and bought a different make. I explained I binned it and they then replied saying if I wish to return it. It was no benefit returning it at an extra cost to me as they gave me no reassure of a replacement of refund, just kept saying it’s policy to see it. Customer service is robotic and the same repetitive emails with no customer care. Avoid! Thankfully it was just £20 item!

Terrible service

Terrible service. Paid for a replacement blender motor unit. First one didn’t arrive. After a month or so we eventually got a replacement which didn’t work. Service was nonexistent at this point, in terms of helping to identify the problem. Upon returning the item, it arrived back with a crack in it (from transit, and for which I have made a claim with the courier company). This is clearly indisputable, but in their email they have refused a refund on the grounds that this item also has signs of “serious wear”, which would be remarkable given we couldn’t even turn it on. They have taken no responsibility for this replacement being faulty in the first place, and it’s a disgrace that it has taken us two months to get to this point. Avoid and buy from another manufacturer - glad we already did this a month ago, and didn’t wait until this point.

Appalling customer service

Appalling customer service, we purchased a blender through an eBay seller for this company. It was faulty when we got it out of the box. The control was not fitted correctly and could have given an electric shock if touched in the wrong place. The customer service is terrible they just keep going on about a receipt, which the seller hasn’t even given and ignores you when requested. Just responds with a smiley face emoji. The quality of the item is extremely poor! I will avoid purchasing any item manufactured by this company and from the eBay seller “mayaselectronicltd” would of given zero stars if I could

Unsafe product do not purchase

I am rating this Company only 1 star as I have to put a star to write a review. Purchased from socomfyltd seller on eBay This SQ kettle as per other reviews this kettle started leaking boiling water. The kettle was purchased in September 2021. According to SQ Professional website the kettles are under warranty for 1 year. But now neither the seller on eBay or SQ Professional want to know. I am annoyed that people can get away with selling unsafe shoddy goods. Avoid these sellers at all costs as NO customer after care sales service. The health and safety executive need to look into these products as they are unsafe. Please DO NOT purchase theses kettle as the are unsafe and leak boiling water and both sellers do not want to know. I have purchased two of these kettles my parents had one from a responsible seller who refunded avoid socomfyltd from eBay and SQ professional.

A Health & Safety issue

I bought 2 identical SQ professional kettles and both developed the same fault, namely dripping boiling water out onto the work surface and all over the electric base. I firstly filled in an on-line form but never had a reply so after a week I telephoned to be told someone would contact me, they never did. After a while I again phoned, spoke to a different person, only to be phobbed off again. I then insisted on speaking to a manager. The manager was also unhelpful and only because of my unwillingness to drop the issue she eventually agreed to send out some return labels so that the kettles could be returned and examined, but she stressed that could take about 4 months. As a trained Health & Safety Representative I am now thinking about taking the matter to the H&S Executive, so concerned am I about the possible lethal danger that these kettles pose. You would think that a company would move heaven and earth if someone was reporting a dangerous problem. Not this company.

A bad working place and cheap quality products

I have worked about 7 months for this company. The contract provided me wasn't clear and there were several issues with it: I have never received a genuine copy, it had been lost at least once so I had to sign it again, probational and notice period weren't specified. Payslips weren't provided regularly. They promised me an appraisal after 6 months, which they have repeatedly postponed until I decided to quit because I started to get worried about their untrusted behaviour. I didn't accept their ridiculous proposal which would have kept me there for other 6 months with basically the same salary. When declined the offer they said I owe them 1 month of notice which wasn't written anywhere. I went to the director office to talk about this things where there was already the account manager and he called immediately also my design manager ending to face 3 people with well english skills than me. After an hour of conversation where they tried to confuse me also blaming to have produce a fake contract by myself, the director use the garden leave procedure as an excuse to not go back to my work station because I could retrieve some important file useful to prove my unfair situation. I worked really hard for this company and I never missed a working day; I didn't deserve a treatment like that. Few colleagues were good and qualified people but all the rest didn't work properly, they were lazy and they wasted time: It isn't nice to see things like that when you work hard, trying to get the best result. I covered many roles in the company, in particular Photographer so I can say that the products quality was very low and cheap: I wouldn't have bought any of them. In short I don't recommend this work place to anybody as a worker or as a costumer. I think there is a little amendment to do about the company name: instead SQ Professional it should be SQ Unprofessional.
