I found the experience with Simply Conveyancing to be simply comforting. The process was relatively smooth, there are always hiccups or unexpected questions from other parties, but SC really helped reduce the noise. They were always available, clear if someone else was covering and answered any questions / emails super fast.
From start to finish simply conveyancing have been an excellent solicitors dealing with our property. Kerry has been amazing she is truely professional and always no issues in communication even when there was holidays our case was always looked after by someone else until she was back and took it straight over again. Kerry had always been able to reassure and told it how it is. Thank you so much Kerry and your team in having looked after myself and Peter throughout this process.

Very poor experience.
A very prolonged process of 7 months to complete, a lot of stress,loss of finance and the burden of almost 100 emails to reply to.Completed purchase a week ago but don’t have keys to enter the flat and indifferent reply from lawyer.Inexperienced staff,would not advise the service.
We used simply conveyancing for our house sale as well as for the purchase. We had Lauren Bourne for the sale of our house and I cannot recommend her enough. We had a tricky time with our buyers and Lauren’s support navigating the challenges was invaluable. She is professional and friendly. Most importantly she’s really responsive and I never had any trouble getting hold of her. I cannot recommend Lauren enough, she truly was outstanding at her job.
On the purchase side, we had an easier time. We were buying a lovely house with vendors who had everything in the house done to high standards and all the right paperwork in an area we know well. For that reason, we didn’t need as much hand holding on this side of things. We were assigned a solicitor called Khiah, then she went away for 3 weeks and somebody else picked up our file. She then came back and a few days later we were contacted by Diane to say she was taking over. Admittedly, we didn’t feel as confident in her skills - she kept asking for odd stuff but we assumed she hadn’t had a proper handover. Then a week before exchanging we were contacted to say Diane was leaving and Alisha was taking over. Alisha was very good considering she had a week to pick up our case before a stressful attempt at exchanging which failed 3 days in a row (issues higher up the chain) and we ended up exchanging and completing on the same day. Again, good at communicating and reassuring us during a challenging time.
Overall we have had a 5 star experience, the purchase side of things was more of a 4 star experience but as I say, we didn’t mind too much and can’t bring myself to give them anything less than 5 stars given how grateful we are to Lauren for seeing our sale through.
We recently used Simply Conveyancing for the purchase of our first property. Our lawyer, Claire, was incredibly helpful, explaining everything to us thoroughly and answering any questions we had. She was easy to get hold of and very responsive to all of our messages. We would highly recommend Claire and we are very grateful for her help.
Despite being an online service we were very aware of the human support at Simply. We felt so supported by Kayleigh and we felt she really cared about our sale as and purchase and what it meant for us. So pleasantly surprised with the help and support we received- highly recommended!
Our personal solicitor was excellent, but the app used was very bad and did not update our change in purchase through the whole process even after asking numerous times.
