I never had much faith in estate agents.... then I met Wes Collins and he changed all that. After several bad experiences with estate agents in the past, both buying and selling properties, Wes and Sell My Home made the purchase of a property much easier than I thought possible.
My previous experience has always been that estate agents tell you what you want to hear or are even outright dishonest (to the point of telling us that the conveyancers were wrong and they were right), as all they care about is getting the sale to go through and doing as little as possible.
Wes, on the other hand, was very communicative, very helpful, and completely upfront about everything.

Very friendly, honest and hard working team at Sellmyhome. This was my first house sale so I was nervous about the process but I was put at ease when I spoke to the team right from the get-go. The photographs that they took of the property were excellent; the online platform is clear and easy to use. I felt in control of my viewings and never felt out of the loop in the sale process. When I spoke to the team, they didn't make me feel like I was just a person on a list to tick off; they really take the time to build rapport with you. I found the service offered by Sellmyhome by and large very positive. Very efficient processes with a strong team of people that followed up the sale more regularly than I might have expected. Sellmyhome will be at the forefront of my thoughts for any future property sale.
I decided to use Sellmyhome for the sale of my London 3 bed flat after being impressed with their service when going through them to arrange a viewing for a house I was interested in buying. The agent I dealt with was helpful and diligent in her follow up and I decided to take the chance and use Sellmyhome for our own house sale, which I thought was worth it given the extortionate amount high street agents would have charged. I was so glad I did as it saved me about 7,500 after the successful sale of our place. What's more, being in direct communication with viewers played a huge part in me getting the price we wanted for our place. I'm sure speaking to viewers about our place gave them greater confidence in the information about our place, bringing a more human element to the process.
I had a very hands on service from the start, with Tom talking me through each stage of the set up process. I wrote my property description, using helpful guides from Sellmyhome and examples of other properties for sale in my area and prepared our house for the property photos.
The online portal was very easy to use, we were about to set our availability easily and I made arrangements directly with viewers. It was a bit of work, but we'll worth the huge saving I made in agent fees. Our agent, Bianca was fantastic, following up with viewers for their feedback and giving me updates several times a week.
Our house sale went through very quickly, in about 2 weeks and I think this was largely down to being in direct contact with viewers.
It was also really useful being in direct contact with my eventual buyer, helping the legal process of the sale go relatvily smoothly.

Basically, with a high street agent, you are paying thousands for them to write your property description and arrange viewings. Completely unjustifiable in my opinion.
