Scap Car Comparison provided the best offer having contacted a few companies directly for quotes - a non-running Volvo XC60. Communication was very good at every stage (Email/Text/Phone) and I was paid on the day of collection as promised - I will admit I had my fingers crossed having never used/heard of them before but comforted by the large number of very positive Trustpilot reviews. Would definitely use again (hopefully won't need to) and recommend.

Great experience. Was kept up to date all along the way via text which was convenient for me. Great contact with the company that bought the car and also the company that picked it up. V nice and helpful driver 👍. 3 companies involved but well connected and seem-less experience.

After I contacted the Company online, I received a phone call with an increased offer. I accepted this offer & was given verbal instruction on the phone & this was then confirmed by email & text message. I was informed in a personal yet professional manner, and on collection day, the driver gave me advanced notice of his arrival, & he took photos of my car & took control of the final elements! I received my payment within one hour, after my car was picked up.
Having been messed around for literally months by a local scrapyard repeatedly promising to pick up my car "next week", I gave up and Googles searched a national company. The car was gone within days for the same amount I had been promised by the first lot. Excellent communication throughout and straight through whenever I needed to call them. Having spent an hour on hold being told how important my call was while trying to get through to HMRC this week and 8 years trying to sort out a Scottish Power bill, these guys have a lot to teach big companies and government departments. It appears excellent service is still possible in the modern age. Well done!
