A great holiday company.
All inclusive holiday very good. No hidden costs. The variety of tours was excellent and the quality too of a high standard. We have no hesitation in recommending Scenic.
We found the cruise disappointing and misleading
We found the cruise disappointing. The staff were all lovely, polite and helpful, the room was kept clean and tidy and it was well organized. The food was good. The guides were all excellent. However pictures in the brochure were misleading. We only "cruised" for one afternoon where we could see the scenery we mostly travelled at night. Our cabin was also above the engine room and the bed actually shook at night. We thought we were booking an up market luxury cruise but it honestly felt more like a holiday camp. The photo in the brochure shows a couple at a table with space all around being served by a waiter. We were all crammed into the dining area with so little space you could hardly walk between the tables.

Scenic Lower Danube and Transylvania extension
Scenic always have the most knowledgable and well informed guides for all their excursions and their itinerary is very well planned and the fact that the cost is all included makes it an even better option.

Ship Swap 1st great 2nd less so
Great crew on the first ship, who outshone tge crew on the second ship. We had to do a Shipswap. Excellent Cruise Director and an even better Assistant. Food good and trips very good.

Nothing was too much trouble
From being met at the airport, to being dropped off again two weeks later, everything was perfect. The fabulous food, lovely wines to match, and the service were all 5 star. The guides on the excursions were all very knowledgeable, and the variety of excursions were such that there was an option for everyone. The stand out excursions were the two classical concerts, one in Vienna and one in Bonn.

Poor beer choice - why offer only cheaper/inferior beers when bars are purporting to be upmarket? Asian/fusion food and service was very good (and well managed and staffed), but other venues only average (and not well managed). Very little entertainment offered. Good cabins and helpful pleasant staff.

Lovely ship and excellent staff
This review relates to Scenic Eclipse Ocean Cruise: Lovely ship and excellent staff. Food very good, but not wonderful. Doesn't compare to Seabourn, Silversea or Regent on the culinary experience. Overall the trip was great, but not the best we've encountered.

Japan at Cherry Blossom time
Our visit to Japan was a truly memorable experience. The quality of all but one of the hotels was very good, the enrichment experiences were excellent and the guide first rate. This was our first land tour with Scenic and one which we would recommend.
