Great in every department. Will do it again. Amazingly good organised.
All inclusive holiday very good. No hidden costs. The variety of tours was excellent and the quality too of a high standard. We have no hesitation in recommending Scenic.
We found the cruise disappointing. The staff were all lovely, polite and helpful, the room was kept clean and tidy and it was well organized. The food was good. The guides were all excellent. However pictures in the brochure were misleading. We only "cruised" for one afternoon where we could see the scenery we mostly travelled at night. Our cabin was also above the engine room and the bed actually shook at night. We thought we were booking an up market luxury cruise but it honestly felt more like a holiday camp. The photo in the brochure shows a couple at a table with space all around being served by a waiter. We were all crammed into the dining area with so little space you could hardly walk between the tables.

We had an amazing holiday, something we have come to expect with Scenic. All the arrangements were seamless, the ship immaculate, the tours planned so that we saw everything without stress and the guides brought the history to life. Scenic excel at comfort and their staff always seem to know what we want before we realize it, they are fantastic, friendly and so helpful. The food was varied and beautifully presented, all dietary requirements and preferences were catered, nothing was a problem. We were made to feel special from the time we arrived until we reached the airport for our flight home. We are now busy planning our next cruise, it’s difficult to chose, so it won’t be the last!

First rate ship. Cabin excellent. Staff really good. Unfortunately both the food and wine were disappointing in quality. Think Scenic are trying to recoup covid losses by cost cutting with centrally controlled menus (not left to onboard chefs and local cuisine) and less expensive centrally dictated wine choices (for example, Hungary produces good wines. Wine choice in Hungary - australian red I could get in Mt local supermarket for less than £10 - hardy a premium selection). So 5 star in part but not overall. Disappointing compared to previous Scenic cruises.

As to be expected the quality of service was top of the range. Even though the river conditions made the itinerary had to be changed this was achieved without any problems, and they even gave us a small refund for the inconvenience. This was our 7th trip with Scenic and that must sy a lot.

We were on Scenic Amber and the Danube river cruise was amazing in every aspect very largely due to the Scenic staff. Their planning made all aspect very smooth. Significant dietary issues was never an issue as they consulted with us every day on that day's menus. All staff were genuinely friendly and engaging. The British Airways / Amsterdam airport lost half our luggage but the Scenic staff took it upon themselves to do all the chasing on our behalf until luggage arrived some days later. The itinerary also included incredibly locations including 2 evening classical performances which were mind blowing.

Our second Scenic River Cruise. Upgraded our room this time. Did not like not being able to see out the window. Only complaint is that we found it hard to regulate the temperature - know others did too. Looking forward to travelling again - probably Douro in 2026. Staff wonderful, excursions great, food super. Love the freedom of everything having been prepaid. Everyone so looked after when it comes to disembarkation.

The quality of the food, the staff, and the ship is always very high. I regret the reduction of the nice touches to save money. For example, there is no fruit in the cabin, no chocolates on the pillow at night, and no fancy shapes from towels on the bed.

Our Bordeaux experience with Scenic was very good. What we like is having paid for the cruise everything is included and no extras are expected.

Physically the ship was amazing and well maintained. Our cabin was gorgeous. The staff were wonderful too BUT the food and the wines were not to the same standard as we had experienced when we traveled on Scenic in 2017. More style less substance, less extras, fewer choices poorer quality wines. Our experience was more four star than five star. We felt it was all about how to save money in the bars and restaurants. Such a shame.

The whole crew worked as a team with the sole object of making the cruise a huge success. The positive, friendly and attentive attitude was across the ship. The catering was of a high standard and the wines were well chosen. The 'shore visits' were interesting and varied. All in all a great week on the Danube
