I hummed about this one before…
I hummed about this one before eventually not investing. I could easily have got done but usually for a lot of the projects I wasn't quick enough in deciding. That is probably why because it felt like a pressure sell....invest now or miss out. Disgusted really from the comments what has happened.

Just read thrives renewable said that there sorry to hear ripple gone under that no payment has been made to them either from Ripple or the coop. There looking forward to dealing with one or the other but at moment there continues with build on there own. Why hasn't ripple sorted a deal

Could not make my final payment. Just checked their reviews and have found out they have gone bust. Thanks for telling us no doubt I would have lost my investment. The Directors would be well cared for got scam written all over it. Have had no return on my investment.

Ripple energy an alternative to solar panels
Ripple energy is a great way to produce some of your own energy if you cannot install solar. Since the turbine went live I have had regular monthly payments into my Octopus account. Ripple communications are good and the app is improving.

Update from an early adopter...
Having joined Ripple as an early adopter back in 2020 after meeting Sarah at FullyChargedLive Silverstone I was really excited to be present virtually at the energising of Graig Fatha in March 2022. The Ripple Team created a real buzz around the event and have continued to do so across social media. As an investor and co-op member I get monthly updates on how my share of the windfarm is generating and a helpful infographic about my monthly savings which are paid direct into my Octopus Account. Since investing in Graig Fatha I have gone on to invest in the second project Kirk Hill which is due to go live in November 2023. I've also reserved a spot and looking to invest in Project 3 which is yet to be announced. With energy prices reaching record highs and mankind facing its existential threat due to anthropogenic activities causing climate change there has never been a better time to invest in clean, green renewable energy generation.

All good so far.
I joined the coop for Ripple's second project. Process to join and communication has been good so far. I look forward to the project progressing and owning a bit of the wind farm. With a one way path towards electric vehicles and heat pumps, our solar panels won't cover it all so this seemed like an interesting way to contribute the renewable future and see some benefit returned for our future energy needs.

So far, so great
As an investor in their new Kirk Hill wind farm and having met the team at Fully Charged Live in Farnborough in April/May, I can wholeheartedly say that this is a great company, with lofty goals and ambitions and who communicate well to their investors and are clearly on a righteous mission. I drop one star, purely because we are at the start of the journey and the wind farm is in the process of being built so I don’t have first hand knowledge of when the money comes back on our electricity bill.

Ripple Energy is disrupting the energy…
Ripple Energy is disrupting the energy market for the benefit of the consumer. Being able to part-own your own power generation is a novel idea that can be done substantially cheaper than having solar panels. If you want to only use renewable energy and save money on your electricity bill then definitely sign up for their newsletter. The customer website is easy and informative. Talking to customer services is simple by sending an email and their response time is rapid. Bottom line, very good company to be associated with.
