The employee assigned to my job, Ben, was very informative friendly and well mannered man. He was happy to explain everything he was doing, how long it would take and how to help prevent the same issue from happening again in the future.

Unhelpful Customer Service

I called to schedule flea removal on a property. They said I must pay £120 for a survey, after which I could find out the prescribed treatment. No problem. I asked for a ballpark figure for treatment (I.e are we talking a c£200/£500/£1,000+) as I’ve never had this before. The agent on the phone refused to provide any guidance with very computer says no replies. I called for help & was made to feel as though they were waiting to rip me off after I’d been charged £120 for the privilege. I appreciate they need to do the job properly, and did not want corners cut, but to not even be able to discuss price and next steps until I’ve paid is totally unhelpful. Needless to say I sourced a local provider who could inspect, prescribe the treatment, and treat within one visit. I wouldn’t recommend this company because they behaved in a way that made me feel like a cashpoint.

I BOUGHT FOR THE FIRST TIME 4 RENTOKIL SPRAY CANS.I HAVE A BEASTIE PROBLEM BOUGHT FROM ROBERT DYAS LONDON UK.I SPRAYED WOODEN COVERED FLOOR SKIRTING BOARDS AND STILL THEY COME. I CAUGHT TODAY TUESDAY 10 DECECMBER 5 ON MY BEDDING ALIVE AND BEASTIE STAINS BLOODY USELESS RENTOKIL.

Feel as though we've been scam victims…

Feel as though we've been scam victims of Rentokil. My husband contacted Rentokil about a rat problem. Couldn't speak to anyone without paying £120, nothing in writing, nobody clearly set out what £120 was for. 2 staff members turned up (perfectly polite no issues there), except we thought they'd start treating the rats. No, they were just there to look at the site and provide what appears to be a glorified quote. Checked carefully again on Rentokil's website and nowhere does it state they charge £120 for only a site visit and what is effectively just a quote. The prices quoted are absolutely extortionate too, compared to the £120ish we paid a few years ago to treat a similar problem in totality. Can't help but feel slightly duped into paying £120 for very little.

Customer service from Rentokil

19 December Have now received my refund so thanks to the Rentokil team for finally resolving! Original complaint… Contacted Rentokil 27th November for them to visit and investigate possible rodent issue, they charged me £120 and said somebody would contact me by 1pm, which they didn't. I chased 29th Nov and when I finally got thru and requested a refund, Rentokil said that I would be refunded by Monday, 4 days later, I have not received my refund nor any contact regarding the visit a week later. Chased yesterday and Rentokil said i would be refunded within 3-5 days, that expired today and still no refund. Have asked Credit card company to cancel the transaction. Appalling customer service and arrogant staff who do not resolve issues
