❌ Avoid Remove My Car – Absolute Shambles 🚗💥 Honestly, steer well clear of Remove My Car. I handed over my car expecting a hassle-free service, but what I got was nothing short of a nightmare. 🔹 No proper paperwork or confirmation. 🔹 They didn’t inform the DVLA like they said they would. 🔹 Left me to deal with all the admin myself – risking fines and penalties. 🔹 Had to sort everything on my own just to stay on the right side of the law. What’s meant to be a simple collection turned into a right mess. No communication, no accountability. If you value your time and don’t want the stress, go elsewhere. This lot are not serious. #RemoveMyCar #CarScrapFail #DVLA #LondonDrivers #BadService #RealReview

My old car was removed without me having to take a day off work(as it was a day in the week). After following the email instructions, the job was done, swift & quick & I received the full amount that was quoted.

Very easy to use and hassle free.

Very easy to use and hassle free. The price was very competitive. I initially had an issue with payment not being received within the time they say but the lady on the phone was very helpful and I received the payment about 10 minutes of the phone conversation. Pick up driver was very friendly kept me upto date on his arrival time.

Very quick and easy!

Within minutes of making the request for someone to take my vehicle, I received a phonecall to arrange collection! And within a couple of days, it was collected. All in all a very smooth and efficient service, would recommend.

I can't fault the service provided

I can't fault the service provided. A representative made telephone contact quickly after my initial enquiry. We agreed an appointment for collection on a day and at a time that suited me. On the agreed day, the driver arrived and loaded the car quickly and efficiently. Payment of the agreed amount recieved via bank transfer the following day. They even took care of telling DVLA that the car had been scrapped. All in all, the whole process was about as smooth as it could be, highly recommended.

Very good price, no issues with execution.

I initially tried one online company and was happy with what they offered but I needed time to get the V5 from another address. In the meantime my Facebook feed was littered with ads from other companies so I thought I may as well try a few, all of which were less than the original quote apart from Remove My Car which as 15% higher than the original. They are essentially a broker and put out to multiple scrap dealers then give you the best offer, presumably after taking a reasonable commission which is fair enough. What you get for your car depends on where you are in the country. I have found you get the most in London so I did a quick check with a firm I use up there for a reference price. With remove my car I managed to get around 85% of the top London price which, for Plymouth, is very good. Service itself was straightforward, I felt a little apprehensive about putting my bank details into the form but needn't have worried. Car was removed at an agreed time and money in my bank within 24 hours.
