Disappointing quality and customer service

At first glance, Pure Electric seemed like a great product—shiny and well-built when it arrived. However, the quality simply does not last. I’ve had mine for less than 16 months, used it fewer than 10 times (I don’t use it for commuting), and it has already stopped working and won’t charge. Reaching their customer service is even worse. After waiting nearly two months for responses, all they did was asking for more money rather than offering any real solution or proper support. For a premium price, you expect reliability and decent after-sales service—unfortunately, I got neither. Disappointed and would not recommend.

Excellent company

Ordered my husband and my self a pro 4 max electric scooter. Orders it on the Friday. Excellent communication all the way through it being sent out to us. Delivery exceptional. Arrived next day. Well done Pure Electric. Very impressed. Scooters are wicked, def recommend!!! 5 star all the way.

Outstanding customer service

I contacted Pure about a scooter which needed fixing with no details about the purchase during a very difficult time following a bereavement. Customer services could not have been more efficient or kinder. The scooter has been successfully collected, repaired and returned. The team were extremely nice and easy to deal with.

PAID BUT NO SCOOTER HAS BEEN DISPATCHED AND EMAILS IGNORED

Same as previous review, purchased a scooter 4 day ago (next day delivery) and haven’t heard anything since. No delivery info has been sent, emailed them several times with 0 replies. Appalling service TBH, just want my money back now as needed the scooter for this weekend. Expected better from a UK company with significant F1 ties. (Order number left with review if pure team want to look into it)

Highly Expensive Maintenance

I have had this scooter for 2 years and all it has given me are problems. As much as the scooter itself is well made, the biggest problem I see is that the battery is manufactured to stop working on it’s 100th charge. Not only is it a pain the ass to fix anything that breaks on one of these scooters but, it’s also very expensive. I see that in order to continue using my scooter, I have to pay 300€+ every year!? This is absolutely outrageous! I’m on the 83 charge of my second battery and it’s already stalling. As soon as I get the scooter fixed, I will sell it and buy another brand as this one is awful. It’s sad, because the scooter itself is a dream to ride when it’s working well, but I’m done dishing out my money!

When i purchased 2 brand new scooters…

When i purchased 2 brand new scooters in 2022 the customer service was ok, this time in 2025 i purchased a refurbished model, it came with a missing part, 20 days later no response,i tried online chat and the bot keeps saying we will reply shortly ( it never happens,) emails are ignored, and so too web forms,i called 01923 381030 but its only constant music and no reply after saying " you are number 1 in the queue" I have given up and buying my own part from somewhere else What ever happens know this, if you buy a refurbished model You are on your own after purchase. I hope this review helps someone

Best brand escooter for small price

Purchased numerous diffrenr generations of scooters from pure each time a new comes out more features are added for a better and smoother ride.customer service is brilliant sometimes can take a few days to reply but i presume they are busy.i wouldnt buy from any other escooter brand,their scooters just get better and better with every gen.

Had a pure air 3 pro+ from Currys

Had a pure air 3 pro+ from Currys, few months with not being drove everyday the screen starting to play up, got a gift card from Currys as it was written off, bought a pure air 4 from Currys with gift card an that was worse, literally used about 6 times to go to the shop an back which is around half a mile on tarmac pavement an the screen went on it an Currys had it written off again so I got another gift card an used it for a few bits for my house an ended up buying from YOCKS, in Northern Ireland an touch wood never no bother an great customer service, as pure electric customer service is brutal if am honest…. Never again

Poor Quality and Terrible Customer…

Poor Quality and Terrible Customer Service I bought a Pure Electric scooter for my son from Currys. It fell over and became faulty—not what you’d expect from a product at this price. It was sent off for repair, but came back with the handlebar screws missing. Despite being told they’d send the missing screws, I only ever received one. I’ve had to chase them constantly, and they take days to reply to a single email. There’s no phone number to speak to anyone, which makes it even worse. I would never recommend buying a Pure Electric scooter. The product quality is poor, and the customer service is even worse.
