I really appreciate how easy and pleasant Laura and Quinton made everything and the EWay app definitely helps simplify everything.
This is the first time that I have used a remote legal service through the Estate Agents to sell a property. I found the ‘e-Way conveyancing made easy’ system to be easy to understand & navigate. All documents were completed or uploaded to my system record together with all corrrespondence. Communicating by email with our Conveyancer, Shirley, was convenient & efficient with responses & updates received in a timely manner. In addition, Shirley was easy to talk to by phone, when required, she kept me updated at all times and clarified any queries that I had. I would definitely recommend this legal service.
Very patient with an old lady who has never had to sell a house before

I was unhappy with the fact it was me doing all the work pretty much. I needed advice and answers over certain things and wasn’t updated or explained too. When I tried asking for ways around I was shut down. Yet in the end it was me doing the legwork that got the sale done. And also it’s been a month since the sale and I’m still waiting for help. I have been left with items in my property that are unsafe and also furniture that I didn’t sign and pay for. I have emailed multiple times and never get a response. Will never recommend them to anyone after the way I’ve been treated. As a first time buyer it has tainted my buying experience. I was also overcharged and despite the fact I was in hospital seriously ill I was pushed into exchanging and completing the same week.

My sister-in-law and our (would-be) buyer have had great experiences with PPL but we appear to be in the 9% club. We knew things would not be plain sailing on the first call with our assigned conveyancer, who clearly hadn't looked at our file. She asked for material that had already been uploaded and then insisted probate could only be dealt with via a solicitor. Better tell the Gov. website and those who take the probate fees then. Despite sending evidence to the contrary months ago, we are still be asked for solicitors probate documents. Despite completing Armalytix checks months ago, we were only advised last week that we now need to supply 12 months bank statements. We are asked repeatedly for documents already uploaded (guarantees and safety checks)and clearly labelled on the portal. Asked for documents that don't exist. Are told (with confidence) that estate management fees are the same as those noted on the uploaded contract. Despite it saying in the contract the next increase date is 2023 and the seller having confirmed it was no longer £400. My wife said in March that the most important thing was for them to check that the Freehold had/ or was in the process of being purchased by the seller. We still haven't had a straight answer as to whether this has been done, just that it can be "expedited in 10 days". They didn't even chase up the fact the EPC the seller had provided was over a year out of date - we pointed it out to them. They just load out-of date documents and send them to you without any checks. And don't even think of suggesting that you might like to request the same kind of material that your buyer's excellent PPL conveyancer has asked of you - electrical safety certs, gas safety certs or a boiler service. Oh no. If you like dealing with someone who doesn't make notes, doesn't listen, leaves massive gaps between receiving and sending on material to their client, ignores questions for literally weeks and insists that they are right, even when given evidence to the contrary, PPL could be the firm for you. Assuming they haven't been removed, our conveyancer has been named in 3 other one star reviews on TrustPilot since February alone. My wife is becoming ill due to the needless stress. However, PPL's admin are extremely efficient at updating your expected bill. In the interests of fairness, I must say I was impressed with the speed at which my wife's e-mailed, itemised list of complaints was addressed. By 11 o'clock, the Conveyancing Manager had acknowledged the problems and put a new Solicitor in place. By the afternoon she had reviewed the folder and taken steps to rectify matters. Rating will be amended at the conclusion of the process.

We had a great experience with eways, which made it a lot easier to track progress and also have all documentation in one place. We initially had difficulty trying to get hold of the correct department and the switchboard wasn't able to put us through to speak to anyone. However, once we had been allocated a case handler experience was great and could always get through to speak on the phone.

Like many people leaving a review, I had no experience or knew anyone who had dealt with PPL before, so I was a bit nervous. No need for my anxiousness, they have been great! Have to mention Amy Holt, my personal conveyancer who has been brilliant. She gets that I am not versed in this type of business and speaks to me in 'laymans' terms, without patronising me. She responds to emails and calls very quickly and has been so very efficient with my sale and now my purchase. I cannot recommend them enough

Kelly Earp was amazing from start to finish. The app is such a great way to see progress throughout the case so there wasn’t a need for unnecessary emails and calls! Highly recommend
