A warning to all UK Drivers. This car rental company provides cheap car rentals but use excuses like Brexit to charge you hidden fees that they claim you need or the car would not be legal on the roads, the headoffice is impossible to contact and they never return any emails or phone calls. Do Not Use! You Have been Warned.

SCAM - AVOID
we rented car in Krakow - returned to Wroclaw. Car collected dirty with missing screen wash liquid (but ware told not need to clean it on return). We had no email and access to collect protocol on the collection! Took photography records of car condition. We received pdf file via call centre next day. Car returned. Took own photography proofs again.RETURN Protocol ZIP file was locked and Pasword was not working. few days later was charged for alleged damages £1600 with deposit still being blocked for nearly 2 weeks. PIN for ZIP - NOT WORKING & WAS DENIED BY STAFF AND SUPPORT! Staff claim has no access to photography proofs of alleged damage. Emailed Complaint department and any kind of emails send are left with no respoce. I Only accessed ZIP files - because I used Panek year earlier and had emailed PIN year ago - surprise - same pin worked this time and had nothing to do with my last digits on driving licence! Panek said we made total of 8-9 scratches to car all around on every side of car. however, photography proofs are only show the cleanless of the car. No prove of damage. Reported to Bank/credit card as SCAM under section 75

SCAM, FRAUD! A friend of mine rent a car to come for a visit. From PANEK located in the airport of Katovice PL. The auto was only used to came to my house and than back to airport. He get a paper where confirm auto was in the same condition when rent. And at the end they never refund the deposit of 4.000 pln so 920,73€! Now have to manage all the annoying stuff of contacting his bank send the documentation etc. I imagine only if some old people have to get through this. Panek call center and e-mail absolutely USELESS, they didn't gave no explanations about what happened, tried to contact them more times by mail and phone.

The company is a thief, the first time I rented a car in Krakow, when the car appeared dirty, smelly and in very bad condition (suspension problems) despite bad experiences 3 weeks ago I rented a car, which appeared about 30 photos at the moment of starting the car (specified about 20). After returning the back again photos and a video of the car. 3 times later an invoice for PLN 6,000 and documents that damaged the car in 14 places and a notification that the car was without access (displayed photos from each of these users). Due to the complaint, 14 days have passed and I have not received a response. The panel in the user panel is located with insurance, which includes insurance for the duration of the stay. I DO NOT RECOMMEND .Firma złodziej, pierwszy raz gdy wynajęłam auto w Krakowie na lotnisku otrzymałam auto brudne , śmierdzące oraz w bardzo złym stanie technicznym ( problemy z zawieszeniem ) mimo złych doświadczeń 3 tyg temu wynajęłam auto zrobiłam około 30 zdjęć w momencie wynajmu auta ( znalazłam około 20 uszkodzeń ). Po oddaniu auta zrobiłam ponownie zdjęcia i film auta . 3 godziny potem dostałam fakturę na 6000 zł i dokumenty że uszkodziłam auto w 14 miejscach oraz informację że auto było bez uszkodzeń ( miałam zdjęcia z każdego z tych uszkodzeń ) . Złożyłam reklamację , minęło 14 dni i nie otrzymałam odpowiedzi . Panek w moim imieniu skontaktował się z ubezpieczalnia w której miałam ubezpieczenie na czas wynajmu . NIE POLECAM

SCAMMERS AND FRAUDSTERS!!! STAY FAR AWAY!!! I returned the car in pristine condition, and these thieves claim it was dirty inside—stole £60 for cleaning. Then they say I damaged the car and stole £1,000 from my credit card! Absolutely disgusting, deceitful scammers!! There’s no contact, no customer service. I’m convinced they just send inflated invoices to EVERYONE who returns the key. They think they’re clever, but they’re not—it’s all going to end up in court!

Jedna z najgorszych wypozyczlni aut. Po miesiacu od oddania obciazyli moja karte 500 zl za zwrot brudnego samochodu wewnatrz. Przyslali dwa zdjecia z piaskiem na dywanikach i napisali ze oddałem brudne auto . Mam nadzieje ze szybko znikna z rynku, a tym ktorzy juz zrobili rezerwacje radze oddac auto kompletnie czyste (wliczajac odkurzanie wewnatrz przed oddaniem ). Dzial reklamacji nie odpowiada na zadne emaile,przyslali automatyczna odpowiedz. NIGDY WIECEJ NIE WYPOZYCZE TAM AUTA A TAKZE ODRADZAM WSZYSTKIM ICH USŁUGI.

Kaunas Airport Car Hire - Don’t Get Scammed! As tempting as it may be to go with the cheapest option offered by Panek or Greenmotion - Stop! Don’t let them steal your money! Take a few minutes to read customer reviews on these two firms first and then make an informed decision. I’m surprised that they have not been investigated and shut down for what can only be described as a scam. Greenmotion and Panek are both advertised on Skyscanner as Kaunas Airport car hire firms, but both are located just outside the airport perimeter, a 10-minute walk from the terminal. If you have booked your car using one of these firms and your flight is delayed, be warned - Panek and Greenmotion will only hold your reservation for 59 minutes. Regardless of providing your flight details at the time of booking, if you’re lucky, you will be given the following options: 1. Pay €100 to re-reserve the same car (this option is only sometimes available if the car you reserved is still available). 2. Pay for a new reservation at a much higher price, in addition to losing the originally paid fee. (A 7-day hire in December 2024 came to €360 when the original Skyscanner brokered price was €80). 3. Hire a car from a different firm. Having advised Panek that my flight details were provided at the time of booking, Panek claimed that due to data protection regulations, they are not passed the customer’s flight details by the broker. However, after discussing this matter with the broker, I have been assured that this information is not true. Brokers will always pass on the main driver’s details and flight information. Having checked, I advised Panek that I could make a new reservation for the same period with them for less than €100 using Skyscanner. Panek’s representative advised me that due to my holding a UK driver’s license, unless I also have an “International Driving Permit” (issued by the UK Post Office), I would be unable to collect the car if I book through a Skyscanner broker. However, if I purchased the car hire with them directly (at €360), the permit would not be required. The rep from Greenmotion interrupted, stating that they could provide a car for €450. Please be aware, if you hold a UK driver’s license, an international driving permit is not required to drive in the EU or EEA. This is confirmed in the small print on Panek’s terms and conditions and your car rental voucher. I’ve had similar experiences with Greenmotion, who happen to share the same customer service counter with Panek. The representatives of both firms at Kaunas Airport behave in the same way, and it comes across as if they are competing to see how much they can rip off customers with additional charges. In the 45 minutes it took me to try and resolve this matter, by my calculation, Panek and Greenmotion collectively charged clients an additional £600 in unexpected charges - all of which clients disputed but ended up paying. Having flown to Vilnius Airport and hired a car from Greenmotion, the same appears to apply there. These two firms are clearly badly managed from top down. In the end, I refused to pay Panek the additional charges. Instead, I asked a friend to give me a lift to my hotel, contacted my broker for a full refund, and asked them to rebook my car with Enterprise car rental. Enterprise was almost double the price (at €160 for 7 days), but their service was great, no hidden fees and located 2 minutes outside the airport terminal. If you’ve been scammed by Greenmotion or Panek, contact your broker to have them removed from their comparison site and get your money back. Write a review so others don’t make the same mistake and, most importantly, don’t fund their fraudulent activity - just use someone else.
