DO NOT USE THIS SERVICE - I signed up, created a press release, paid for it, then Newswire rejected it but kept my money. I been trying to get my money back for months without any luck...

Waste of money. The outreach is ineffective. I'd use PRweb or PRlog for the press release. Their outreach list is nothing a little open source research can pull and their pitch isn't worth $400. All in all--burned 3K and got nothing but 100 press release links and no news placement for it.
I didn't get notification that my release was approved for several hours after I uploaded it; when I called to find out the status the office was closed - at 4pm PT. That's not great customer service. I sent an email and then within 15 minutes I got the notification my release was approved. What was the hold-up? UPDATE: I was quickly contacted by an account manager offering to rectify the situation, as well as assuring me that steps were being taken to correct these situations in the future.
Amanda was great and super helpful on helping my agency submit a release and getting it approved within short notice (less than 24 hours). Great service!
Easy to use and straightforward.
You pay before your release is published or even finalised. US focus makes it not attractive to EU customers (I need to talk to a "strategist" for international options). Slow approval process (over 50 hours in my case). Won't use again unless for a US only release. Update: Newswire did follow up after this review acknowledging the problems and trying to correct the issues.
Newswire made the process very easy. They were efficient in approving my content and had it released during the time I requested.
The self-serve menus were intuitive. Staff reached out to help with any other questions. The whole experience was great.
Honestly 5 stars goes to Kirsten C. (of client services) alone. She has made my experience with Newswire amazing. She is always efficient, quick, and super helpful! Whenever I have a problem, I contact Kirsten and she will have it resolved within 30 minutes or less! She takes time out of her day to make sure I have no problems or issues, and if I do she resolves them then and there. I really can't say enough about her! I know for a fact that without Kirsten we wouldn't have tried Newswire and without out her we wouldn't have continued to use Newswire. She goes above and beyond with everything that she does and I'm continually impressed by her! Newswire is a good service and Kirsten makes it great!
