I visited the Neuhaus shop in Huy today to collect a gift I had received. Unfortunately, the gift didn’t include a date, which led to some confusion. Instead of trying to help, the woman who attended me seemed visibly annoyed and handled the situation with a bad attitude.
I expected a more welcoming and professional service, especially from a brand known for its quality and tradition. The chocolates may be excellent, but customer care is just as important — and sadly, it was lacking during my visit.
I've always experienced excellent customer service on visiting your lovely Harrogate store.

Shipment error corrected at once - received promptly
Order was originally shipped to the wrong country (administrative slip), but when I wrote to customer service, a new shipment was immediately sent to the correct address and received within the originally promised time period. Excellent service!
Excellent service (had a few requests and customer services were brilliant, professional and prompt), brilliant packaging for the weather, coming in a cooler box with gel packs. Chocolates themselves are lush! Highly recommend.
Satisfaction with one project led to another project being done by them.
Newhaus Roofing and Construction installed a roof on our 1914 Craftsman House. They were very professional and thorough in performing the job. I was very satisfied with the finished product and received compliments from my next door neighbors. I was so impressed that when I took on a second project (covering our back deck that was built on top of the living room). It was well done realizing it was similar to replacing a roof. The young man, (Tony), in charge of the projects was very attentive to the work that was being done, to make sure the jobs were being done properly. If and when I have a third project to be done, Newhaus will be the first to Bid on it.
Ordered on a Friday evening from Belgium and my chocolate arrived in Denmark on Tuesday morning. Good packing so the chocolate box was gift-ready. No complaints. Would recommend.
The chocolate is excellent. However, I had a failed delivery due to a problem between Neuhaus and their courier, DPD. As a result the consignment was very late but Neuhaus sorted this comprehensively once they became aware of the issue.
I ordered some neuhaus from the Harvest garden in Edinburgh. They were stale so i complained to the owner of the online shop, she said there was nothing she could do as they were in date.I then contacted neuhaus directly so they could prevent this from happening if the store selling them was at fault. Neuhaus then kindly sent me a box from belgium even though it wasn't their fault at all. This is outstanding customer service and very much appreciated.
