Ollie Dog Food

Got our first box and I am impressed! Packaging is first rate! So well packed and lots of ice! I canceled Farmers Dog due to shipments that were completely thawed on arrival. They refunded HALF of one order and replaced second order. I just got sick of the inconsistency. Hopefully Lexi will love this food ! She is sooo picky.

The representative helped us with our situation and was very understanding. She went above and beyond to make sure that we were taken care of, this is the excellent experience we’ve always had with Ollie.

So far my dog is doing excellent on this. We tried another brand and she didn’t do well on it. I was happy when she was able to tolerate this food and is actually thriving on it. I also like the fact that they do other services for you so that you can make sure your pet is healthy all around

From the delivery to the food itself, I have nothing but praise. The UPS driver is always courteous and offers to help bring the box into my home. I am 80 with a fractured spine, but I figured out a way to get the box into my home without lifting it, then into the kitchen so I can unload everything into the dogs’ freezer. I just keep the box going end over end until I reach the kitchen. Now to Ollie Fresh Food itself. My two dogs love it! It’s nutritionally balanced so I know they are getting everything they need for good health. I cook up 4 pounds each of lean ground beef and ground chicken, then portion it all into freezer bags — alternating the beef and chicken along with the Ollie flavors so my dogs have variety. I get 7 packages each of the Ollie flavors: Beef with Sweet Potatoes, Lamb with Cranberries, Pork with Apples and Turkey with Blueberries. The ground beef gets mixed in with the first two flavors and the ground chicken with the last two. From my delivery today, I put one each of the Lamb, Turkey and Beef in my fridge and put everything else in the small freezer. By tomorrow morning the Lamb will be defrosted and I’ll mix it with my ground beef for the dogs’ breakfast. By dinner time the Turkey will be ready to mix with my ground chicken. And so it goes. The final step before heating any mixture for two minutes in the microwave is to add either beef or chicken bone broth. That’s it! Happy dogs and happy mom! I’m celebrating my 41st year of rescue and adoption. Ollie isn’t exactly inexpensive, but my goal is to erase every bit of negativity from the dogs’ past lives. Between the Ollie and the fresh sheets on their giant USA-made orthopedic beds, I think I’ve accomplished my goal.

I live in Arizona and the summers are very hot over here. I was worried about Ollie and its frozen food promise. However, they went above and beyond! They put about 4 dry ice into my order and it was still completely frozen even in 102 degree heat. My dog absolutely loves this food and it is all she will eat. She also adores the treats! It is wonderful that it can come safely and frozen to my doorstep!

Edit: it has now been a couple of weeks and my boy is CRUSHING the food from Ollie and doing SO WELL! Thank you so much for saving my dog! I ordered Ollie for my dog who is battling lymphoma, and had gone completely off food after his last chemo treatment. He wouldn’t even eat home cooked chicken hand fed to him. I was so scared for my boy and desperate and I thought I would try Ollie and see if he likes it, as a friend of mine had mentioned her dog was on it and doing really well. Well today we opened the first package of beef and sweet potatoes, and he ATTACKED the little bit we put in the cute bowl Ollie sent us in the first box (we thought changing up his bowl might help too)! He didn’t eat all of it in one sitting since he’s just coming back on food, but I’m happy to report that by 3:00 pm he had finished his first pack for the day! I am SO happy I ordered Ollie! It is the only thing he has been excited about eating in 4 days, and we were starting to get worried. Thank you so much for making such a great product!

The delivery is always on time. My Brandy loves the food. The customer service is amazing. The only problem I have is did you change the pork recipe it’s now gooey not like the beef and lamb.

My 2 dogs and sometimes the cat love Ollie. I feel extremely confident that the food is top grade and just wish that I could afford to feed it exclusively. Shipping is always excellent even when it is above 90° the food is still frozen. Try it your dogs will thank you.!

My experience has been amazing from setting up my first dog to adding my second. The app is so easy to use and I love the options for the health screenings. I started Ollie because my one dog had super elevated liver labs. She was getting top of the line dry food with a great topper. I started doing research as she has a ton of allergies and decided to give Ollie a try. After 1 month on it(no other supplements)her labs improved some. After her next lab they were even better. 9 months into it and she is regulated. Her internal medicine vet at Cornell didn't know much about the food but is now a firm believer that the food has been an integral part to her liver recovering.
