Prima ervaring met Msc Virtuosa naar Spanje vertrokken 12 Juli tot 26 juli vanuit Southampton. Heel veel vermaak aan boord voor onze tieners. Prima personeel, het is druk maar niet te druk. Eten gewoon, maar voor ons goed genoeg. Geoliede machine ook wat betreft het van boord gaan in een stad, ik ben zeer positief, vorig jaar met Norwegian Viva was ook al zeer positief.

No egg free cakes

I was unable to travel due to illness and had purchased a drink package for my wife and myself. My wife changed cabins to go in with my daughter and grandson. My granddaughter and her friend went into our cabin. we were not allowed to change the drink package to my granddaughter and her friend. When I applied for a refund on my drink package I was told to claim the money back on the travel insurance. Also the company was told my daughter was allergic to eggs and nuts, but on the final day there was a huge selection of cakes but no egg free ones.

Hice un crucero en el msc grandiosa del 5 al 12 de junio, el barco es espectacular, pero pierde todo su glamour al meter a tantísima gente, el bufet parece Benidorm es un extres impresionante, el día de navegación es horroroso no hay amacas , los camareros del buffet no te dan descafeinado, te gritan como si fueras una oveja, a la hora de desembarcar en Ibiza nos quedamos en un pasillo afixiados más de media hora por poco no me da una lipotimia. Quieren seguir vendiendote el glamour con las noches de gala y demás, pero hay tanta gente Quevedo parece el metro, de glamour tiene poco. Me vendieron un pack de bebidas diciéndome me entraba la sin alcohol y resulta que no entraba, todo el crucero luchando por la sin alcohol los camareros me hablaban mal. En los jacuzzi tienes a los niños encima de ti. Conclusión cuando decidas hacer un crucero busca otra compañía msc está saturando sus barcos de gente parecemos piojos entre costuras.

I’m writing as a Diamond status guest, having just returned from a cruise on MSC World Europa (March 2–9, 2025, from Genoa). Unfortunately, this marks the second cruise in a row with unresolved issues — and broken promises from MSC. We purchased the Easy Plus Drink Package and a 3-restaurant dining package, but again faced missing items, bar exclusions not mentioned during booking, and unavailable drinks in key venues. This was identical to what we experienced on the same ship in February 2024 — and at that time, MSC responded by saying stock levels and communication would improve. Clearly, they have not. The lack of transparency is especially disappointing. For example, on MSC Euribia, the drink package was not accepted in the wine bar — something we only discovered onboard. On World Europa, the Elixir Bar was also excluded, even though this was not listed online before purchase. Staff simply referred us to “fine print” on the menu — which is of no help to passengers who booked from home, based on incomplete or misleading information. We expected better. When a guest is paying €54/day for a beverage package, it’s reasonable to expect the advertised items to be available, and for the inclusions/exclusions to be made clear up front. MSC offered us a €30 future cruise credit per cabin, but this feels like an empty gesture — especially since it’s not combinable with other offers, like our 10% loyalty code. It does not address the core issue: we paid for services that were not fully delivered, and our loyalty as returning guests has been met with generic replies and no meaningful resolution. After multiple disappointing experiences, we now feel compelled to warn other potential guests. We’ll be sharing this review in multiple languages across all platforms, so that others are fully informed before purchasing onboard packages. MSC needs to do better — especially for loyal guests. VIRTUOSA TO CANARIES

I and 2 friends (all in 70's) took MSC Virtuosa to Lisbon. Maderia.Las Palmas. Tenerife.Lanzarote 13 - 25 August 2022. Aurea Class at a reduced fare to include a drinks & tips package.Single cabins + balcony. SUPER service by friendly, helpful, professional staff. EXCELLENT fine dining lots of choice food. Only complaint, no events, talks classes etc for "mature" customers. Although in fairness it was advertised as a "Family/Fun" ship. Although pre-voyage Covid tests extensive, I came off the ship with COVID. May be from one of the free 1,600 kids (not tested) on board. SHIP facilities & cleanliness marvelous. I would recommend this ship/trip to a family or under 60's.

MSC CRUZEIROS NUNCA MAIS

Embarquei em lisvoa no msc orchetra a 02/07/2022 vom família e amigos, os quais aconselhei a fazer esta viagem, pois ja tinha viajado outra vezes na msc. Bem se arrependimento matasse estava ja morto. 3 horas para embarcar em. Lisboa por problemas técnicos. Compreeendemos os mesmos, so nao vompreendemos como é que a falta de organizacao provocou o caos. A minha gulha com 3 anos e ao meu colo fez kms no ternibal. Ora vai para a esquerda ora vai pata a direita ot pata. Ora avança... Soe e desce... E 3 horas se passatam numa total deaorganizacao... E acabamos por azer o check in dentro do barco. Em mahon foi o caos. Tinhamos senha de saida n 4 para as 08:35. Ja saimos do barco as 10:15.pior mesmo foi o regresso ao barco... A desorganização total. Falta de barcos para fazer o transfer. Pessoas com mobilidade reduzida a serem deixadas para tras. E um ogicial, o sr claudio das finanas do navio, a mandar os seys conhevidos a passar a frente nas filas. Toda gente a reclamar, pessoas de muletas, e eles a mandarem as pessoas calarem se e ainda se tiam. Uma vergonha. Conprei pacote de bebidas incluidas.... Pois bem... Uma vergonha... Uns diass tinha direito a umas bebidad e gelados... Noutras nao ja nao.... Chegou a cumulo de ir buscar um cone de baunilha pata a minha filha no bar da piscua, um enpregado me dizer que nao estava incluido... Peco pata ver a listagem das exclusoes e nao me sabrm dizer ou mostrar.... O pior mesmo e que indigada, a espesa de uma migo que eatava a fazer o mesmo cruseiro cmg, vai ao mesmo bar, solicira o vone a outro funcio ario e dao lhe o mesmo.... Uma verginha. Msc cruseiros nunca mais... Nunca mais.. Uma expectativa defraudada e pior mesmo foi yer aonselhado a amigos que ficaram tambem dececionadoa.

Give it a chance.

Good value cruise on MSC Virtuosa. Southampton, La Rochelle, Bilbao, La Coruna, Le Harve, back to Southampton. End June/early July 2022. The restaurant food was always delicious. The roasts (when offered) were very generous portions. The buffet food isn't great quality. Stick to the (inclusive) restaurant. Be advised though that the choices are limited. It's a set menu every lunch and dinner. If (like me) you can't eat fish/seafood; choices are limited. I'm not vegan or vegetarian but it seems like they'd struggle. Shows are short. Only 30 - 45 minutes. No West End shows. During the day the pools and hot tubs get busy. Lounges/bars get crowded in the evening and nowhere to sit. But.... The cocktails are very nice. (I went for the drinks package). Although limited choices; the set lunches and dinners were delicious. Nice lounges and sea views. IF you can find a seat. I highly recommend "Adjeerez" (am I spelling that right?). This is a £15 show and you get a free drink. (note some shows are free, others you pay for). Adjeerez has a plot but tbh I feel it's more about the visual experience. Think a bizarre mix of.... Commedia Del Arte style costumes, chess, opera, ballet, dance and the circus. Throw in some hoops, diabolos, ropes, wires, led screens and you've got a show. The choreography was impressive and the performers are highly skilled. VERDICT: It took me a little time to settle in, but.... This wasn't terrible. Room for improvement but still a good value break. Got better as it went on. Staff were fantastic.

Honesty is not their top competence

When all is well, I'm sure MSC offers some good cruises, but honesty and transparency is not speicelly high with the company. On their website - and in the information you get by - you are allowed to go ashore if you follow the country's rules. At the very bottom of a FAQ, however, it was stated that children are not allowed to go ashore - completely regardless of the fact that all countries on the route precisely and explicitly accept children. Willingness to answer questions the problem was not present at all. Emails were ignored and it was not possible to talk to someone other than a poor employee in customer service who of course could say neither one nor the other. Refund was of course not possible. Now we must look forward to seven days on a ship we are not allowed to leave. Wow. By the way, segregating by age is discrimination, no doubt.

You simply the best👍

My wife and I will always have happy memories of our first cruise in 2017. We booked on the MSC Sinfonia from Cape Town to Venice May 5 2017. I only haven praise for the staff and crew and the entire entertainment crew. They were simply the best. The food was a delight and so were the guests at our table. We booked another cruise later this year or early next year. Thank MSC you made our trip memorable.
