Overall very good
We had a lovely time on MSC Virtuosa, despite some negative reviews, it’s a lovely ship, clean and modern and hard working pleasant staff. It’s passenger capacity is large so yes you can expect some rude folk who can’t possible wait in a queue for all of 30seconds to get an slice of pizza or 5mine to get a drink and of course the sun bed hoggers and those who must have the same seat each day but we had a great time. We found the food overall very good and lots of variety. Yes there were some nights in the MDR it was a bit bland and boring and also repetitive. Speciality restaurants all very good and great value for money. Drinks package is great. Embarkation and debarkation flawless. The ship shuttles are expensive and for places like Valencia you have no option to use. We are happy to walk a few miles but there may be some passengers who can’t. We upgraded to Aurea and found it to be worthwhile, purely just not to have to go to the MDR, access to the thermal spa area was an added bonus. Loved my morning swim, even on the chilly days. The buffet is busy at peak times but it’s mirror image each side and if you go to the back it’s far calmer and plenty tables. Go with an open mind and you’ll have a lovely time.

Cabin dirty and no im not fussy
Cabin dirty and no im not fussy. No robes towels or bath towels goven. Took 2 days to recieve them and we cleaned the room ourselves. Sadly not the best experience

Great first experience on Vituosa
It was great from first day to the last day. Every day activities, entertainment in theatre, loads of lounge beds everywhere. Drinks, food, ice creams. Housekeepers doing great job every day keeping our rooms clean. Disappointed of the big screen at the Atmosphere pool. They showed F1 Silverstone race on Sunday and went left to race 10 laps they turn off the race. MSC are big sponsors of F1, so I was not happy about it. Glad we had package of Internet, so we finished to watch the race on the phone. They proud of they big screen but not using enough. During the day they could play some music video.

The staff looked tired and fed up when…
The staff looked tired and fed up when on anonymous duties but perked up when assigned to their own area. This is not a reflection of the staff but more a reflection of the year on year reduction in staff numbers. Services are cut, staff work harder for longer. The cruise industry is in this general decline and race to the bottom. Ots more like Hi~di~hi every year. People who cruise alot notice. If you are new to cruising, you may not.
