But then i decided to buy a new phone with them.
How dare I do that! Worst company ever.
The phone never even made it to me and i was charged $500. I never got the phone and they refused any support at all. Confirmed delivered by Fedex to H.H.H. THAT IS NOT MY NAME. it was clearly stolen.
I purchased insurance but i never even got the phone to activate it.
Im tired of getting danced around.
I want my money back.
I have wasted an hour in Europe trying to get WiFi calling to work. It has worked on and off and now Mint doesn't even recognize my number. I renewed (annual) on the condition they make the feature work from Europe and they promised. Now I've been on the phone twice, wasting 40 min on two diff calls with two reps, promising they would fix it. f Mint and they'd get a MINUS 1 if that were an option
There should be 2 separate reviews ,one for the service which seems good so far and the second for customer service website and app which totally SUCKS! Been trying all day to log in and it won't recognize either of my mint numbers so I have. O access to my accounts. Customer service is clueless. Spent hrs on the phone with them . They can't help. So now I'm stuck with no account access and no way to change payment method since I do not give payment information over the phone verbally
I just want to say, THE QUALITY OF MINT IS TERRIBLE FOR ME. I live in north Seattle, and I pay for the premium mint plan, and I'm only able to make calls and use data for about six hours per 24 day. During business hours, I rarely am even able to make a call l. Maybe there's something unique about my situation, but my advice is don't use mint if you live in Seattle and need a reliabke network.
I love that you only need to pay once every three months, gives you time to focus on more important things financially. And the price is amazing. I have the $75 dollar plan, and I was spending $135+ for three months of a plan before. Saves me a lot of money and stress<3
Mint mobile does exactly what it says it will do. The service has been good. You can't beat the price.
I do live close to a T-Mobile tower, so that makes it about as good as it can get.
On November 8 of 2024 I purchased two lines from Mobile. I got an email to start the service which I was transferring from T-Mobile and the fox team with Mint Mobile could not get my line activated. I was without service for two days waiting for them to activate it but they never could. So with T-Mobile and mint mobile on the line, we switched my line back and the support people at mint mobile were going to issue me a refund. I have yet to get a refund back of my hundred dollar plus order and I would be wary of anyone Wanting to get mint mobile for their phone service.
This is an update. I contacted Mint Mobile again and I initially received pushback but I insisted on speaking with their supervisor and after speaking with him about what happened, he quickly resolved my issue and I have now been totally refunded .
Difficult and time consuming to get things set up and done. Cost is not competitive either--ok but not great--at the lowest data level, you can do very little before you run out of data.
