Marsh and Parsons, Tooting - a really good experience!

I recently used the Tooting Bec branch of Marsh and Parson to sell my property and cannot speak highly enough of their Director, Angelo Mulholland. Angelo and Thomas Syms were reliable and honest in their dealings with me, they are both highly experienced agents who know the wider housing market and the local market well and understand the impact of the change in one on the other. Connor Marney, managed the on-the-ground marketing and sale of my property, an absolute star! Calm and reliable, unfailingly polite and hard working I felt really fortunate having Connor as part of my sales team. A big thank you to M&P, I have no hesitation in recommending you!

I worked with Marsh and Parsons to do a…

I worked with Marsh and Parsons to do a short-term lease. My agent rushed me to send over full funds (deposit and entirety of rent) immediately to secure the flat, warning me that I might not get the place otherwise, so I did. He wrote to confirm that I got the place. A month later, he said that I actually did not get the place as apparently the landlord was no longer renting it out, despite the contract and confirmation. He “generously” — that’s sarcasm — offered to refund the money. When he sent it back, it was short $1k. He refused to do anything else about it. Not only did he fail to fulfill contract obligations and screw me over that way, he also caused me financial loss for the privilege.

Great service

Great service, and very attentive staff (Abdullah Leghari). They make themselves available at various ours of the day that help alleviate any issue that may arise with the tenant. I would recommend them again and again to others,

Tenancy experience

Whilst all the direct processes with Marsh and Parsons went fine, we ended up having a terrible experience with our landlady. Unfortunately, M&P didn’t offer us any support on this front and it really felt like they were totally on the landlady’s side, in the end they did what they could to get us out of the property. After speaking with others, it seems like it’s a known issue that our landlady could be extremely difficult. M&P really need to consider who they work with and ensure tenants safety and well-being is considered, and not just the opportunity to make more money.

Trust worthy estate agents

Marsh and Pearson have been managing my property and have so very well: they have all their processes fully button up, from searching for new tenants, moving in, on-going rent collection etc. In particular, I appreciate the contribution of my account manager, Ellie​​​​ Hodkinson, who has always been proactive and responsive in dealing with everyday issues. Would really recommend working with her!

Abdullah has been looking after my flat for a year. I’ve been really impressed with his ways of working. He answers the phone, returns missed calls promptly, is polite and friendly, explains things clearly and gets stuff done. What more could you ask?
