Extremely Disappointed with their Unfair Practices

I booked a free course with Flexible Learning by mistake, realising almost immediately that it wasn’t the right level for me. I contacted them the very next day to cancel — before accessing any materials or participating in anything — only to be told I’d be charged a £125 “admin fee” to cancel. While I understand there was a clause about this fee for non-completion, it’s completely unreasonable to enforce it when the course was clearly booked in error and cancellation was requested promptly. I didn’t benefit from the course in any way, and yet they’re still demanding payment. Worse still, the course was advertised as free, but this cancellation charge wasn’t made clear upfront. It feels misleading and unfair — and their refusal to show any flexibility or understanding shows a complete lack of customer care. I would not recommend Flexible Learning to anyone based on this experience. If you make an honest mistake, don’t expect any compassion — just a bill.

Amazing

My tutor was amazing, patient and knew how to teach! my mental health was not grate when I started but my manager and tutor was amazing and so supportive, I finished level 2 hair dressing and am now onto level 3 and honestly loving it. Definitely recommend! well definitely recommend the camden branch all tutors are amazing kind and patient but in a constructive way. Had the best experience in level 2 hairdressing.

ok but not the best

the course itself and the workbook were well presented. However, the problems i had were several and important as follows: a) having my tutor changed without notice or warning, this made it hard to feel supported. b) the masterclass has different advice to the tutors or workbook - this made it hard to know which to follow. c) the definitions of what you expect for answers are varied and not consistant, both in the masterclass and the wookbook. d) a printed copy of the workbook should be offered as home printer ink is ridiculously expensive and many learners are on benefits or low income. e) it shouldn't take so long to be told we've passed, let alone to get the certificate. Also, you shouldn't be trying to sign us up to more courses when we've barely finished the one we're doing. You've sent me many emails trying to get me on other things and that's before i knew whether or not i'd passed or not.

My first Mental Health course in English.

My experience was great because I had extraordinary support from the Learning Curve Team and my Mentor. When I had technical problems, they authorised me to submit my Assessment later. The company is doing well because they help their trainees with their needs during the course. However, I think that at least one interactive class ( online) per Unit would be essential to develop more knowledge about certain topics.

Extremely good

I needed extra support with deadlines due the busy nature of my life working full time and being a single parent. I found Learning Curve Group to be extremely supportive. My Tutor gave me detailed feedback on my work and the workbook’s were very well written and easy to understand. I was so impressed with the amount I was able to learn and doing this course gave me the confidence I needed to get a new job working with children that have autism. 10 stars overall from me.
