We’ve spent well over £1000 on a new hot tub and all the accessories needed (clip on TV tray, underwater vacuum, foot tray, thermal cover, underwater lights, and a gazebo to house it)! Lay Z Spa sent my thermal cover with DX express, which are apparently a specialist delivery partner - They managed to deliver my parcel and leave it in a safe space, despite me never advising them of one in my garden (it isn’t hard to find one, we have multiple areas you can hide a parcel and open outhouses that they can be placed inside). However, they sent the chemical starter kits we ordered with Evri - what a joke it has been. We had already filled up our hot tub in preparation for the chemicals arriving, so we could actually use our new and expensive purchase. Evri left my first parcel on the doorstep, which was not there when I arrived home, however my husband was in that day, they didn’t even knock or leave a card! Just a ‘proof of delivery’ photo on my emails showing it in full view of my road on the doorstep! Evri have my safe spaces saved on my online account so there is no excuse tbh. I contacted them, reminded them of my safe spaces and Lay Z Spa arranged a re delivery. Evri did the exact same thing a few days later, despite my emails reminding them of where they could leave items if I’m not home (or to at least knock on and see if someone is in)! I contacted Lay Z spa and advised them and asked if they can speak with Evri reiterating my safe spaces and asking them not to leave the products on a doorstep, this is not delivering anything! Lay Z spa refused and said they can’t use another delivery company and they won’t speak to Evri! They advised I can use another delivery address if I want to reorder apparently (not sure who’s I am meant to use tbh)! They also told me they will refund the money and I’m welcome to go to another shop and purchase the chemicals I need. I’m astounded that they can be so flippant and dismissive towards their customers who have literally just spent a small fortune with them. So over a week later, my hot tub water has gone rank and needs redoing and I still don’t have my chemicals or the money I paid for them!! Honestly an absolute joke and we wish we had used a different company and will be using a different brand of spa chemicals as we don’t want to support this company any further. You’d think with such poor reviews on here they’d do better but I spose they’re like every other money grabbing company aren’t they!! Wouldn’t recommend at all, use another company!! The instructions that come with the tub are redundant also so all in a crap experience! Hope my tub is actually worth it by the time I can get in!!!
