Ross made the experience as a first time landlady extremely easy. He was helpful, professional and very knowledgeable. Without him it would have been very difficult to navigate the property market on my own. I would definitely recommend him and the company as a trusted business partner.

Mark has been so helpful and welcoming with my move into the area. He has been amazing at answering queries and ensuring I have all the details I need to help me get settled in which is invaluable to someone new to the area. He’ll always try to accommodate where he can; ensures the property is up to standard and will sort things out very quickly! Knights Property is a small but highly efficient and worthwhile company to deal with. As a landlord I was looking for someone who knew and understood what I wanted; I didn't want to rip off tenants but equally expected to have responsible individuals. Ross is dedicated to his business and the service he provides is excellent, as is that of Mark, his business partner. These days it is so hard to find a business that delivers and goes above and beyond.

Booked a viewing for a property and was offered the first slot available a week later. As this was during business hours I had to book time off work and make a few other arrangements. The company then rings less than 24 hours before the appointment to cancel the booking because they got the keys back early and showed someone round today and they said they'd take the property. When I asked them about another property I'd asked for a viewing at they said they didn't know they had the property. When making my initial request I was told that viewings not being booked at this time but we'll contact you when they have they keys. This is the most unprofessional service I've ever received from any estate agent and I've never met one before who slips in an early appointment and offers out the property that way. When asked why treat people this way the agents attitude matched the service provided.

Very good service, quick response to all my queries. They have a very personal approach. More than happy to recommend this agent to anyone wanting to rent their property. Overall great customer service.

I have had Knights managing my rental property for the last two years. Ross was my initial contact and explained everything very clearly and made me feel very confident in their managing my property. I have worked with the team at Knights for many years and simply put, they would be my first and only port of call for lettings as a landlord. Responsive, quick turnarounds, good processes, agile network of trades for property issues and happy to work with both parties to handle any conflicts.

The property we rented from these people wasn't fit for human habitation! There were rats and the garden was filled with other peoples junk, hidden in the bushes. The house soon became mouldy as the heating didn't work properly. The agents seemed entirely unconcerned about these issues and took only half hearted measures to address our problems. They were happy to ignore our complaints which leads me to believe unhappy tenants are a common occurrence for them. Avoid these crooks at all costs!

I have recently moved into a lovely property that I am renting through Knights. Ross and team have been especially wonderful at making the whole process easy and hassle free. I viewed and enquired about other properties with other estate agents, and they were no comparison to Knights. The team are very responsive to emails and phone calls (which lots of other estate agents seem not to be), and nothing seems a problem they can't solve. The property was in excellent condition when I viewed it, and I was given a lovely long viewing slot which meant that there was no feeling of being rushed. I might have guessed the reply to my email regarding the tenants at 21 willow place would result in contacting the council typical knights attitude I also sent you a picture of a bird feeder less than a foot away from our fence which will cause bird droppings on the patio all done on purpose no reply ?? and today loud music blearing through the walls this will not be tolerated by this woman who doesn’t seem to care about any rules while renting, the council will be the next call , she obviously know how to play the game with knights well you’ve been told and that’s all I can do but this will fall back on yourselves for sure

I would strongly recommend avoiding becoming a tenant in a Knights managed property. There is another review on Trust pilot where they have responded by saying they have no record of a tenant's complaint. This says a lot about them as a company. When it is convenient for them suddenly, they will have no memory of something including vital maintenance needed on the property you are renting from them. AVOID

Knights provided excellent service, Mr Ross has been fantastic , very helpful and professional during the entire renting process. You simply don't meet honest and hard working estate agents everyday and when you do you want to let others know! My experience while renting a property through Knights Estate Agents was excellent. I felt that my questions were always answered in a timely manner and with courtesy. When I called, there was always a person on the other side to attend to my call. I dealt with Ross and Phillipa and both of them came across as people who care about the work they do and about people they service. Given the current rental market situation I felt they handled my expectations well and were open and transparent from the very start. So, renting or buying, I would not hesitate to use Knights Estate Agents again. They provide outstanding service!

Knights was recommended to me by at least two estate agents when I was house-shopping, so I gave them a call and found Ross extremely helpful on the phone. He then helped me with my purchase decisions as I was looking for a house to rent out and his experience and insights were invaluable in choosing somewhere suitable that would work both as an investment and as a rental property. I bought two houses eventually and he was extremely helpful with both. I am now very happily renting out both houses through Knights. They provide all the support I need and are invariably calm, efficient, thoughtful, and professional.

An extremely good professional service. Knights are conversant with the related legislation and ensure their clients are aware of the current and latest regulations. Knights are always available for help and guidance when needed.

Terrible agency, rented from them when I first moved from Kent to Sussex - in 2013 the property in Crawley down was not fit for habitation, the current tenants were still in the property with their pictures up and rugs around josh stick burning, turns out these pictures and rugs were covering holes, stains, pipework poking out of the floor, the josh sticks covering the stench of mould. The house on the first day still had the other persons stuff there, actually more like bin stuff, 10 black bags later of someone else's dirt despite the agents at Knights stating it would be cleared and cleaned, simply didn't happen. 50% of the light switches were superglued closed and this was just the tip of the iceberg, this iceberg was bigger than the one that took out the Titanic.. I spoke with Ross about the issues within an hour of getting the keys and trying now to get out of this horrible rental, to which Knights took no responsibility - Ross told me he knows tenancy law more than me and go ahead and take him to court.. This was no one of those situations where I have to weigh up the damage this is already causing to life and possibly starting a court battle.. horribly so we stayed for the 10 months of hell and it nearly ended my relationship with my partner due to our quality of life being ruined by Knights. They simply didn't care as soon as we signed the tenancy agreement and told us to swing for it... Cowboy outfit and very surprised they are still trading all these years on Update: Thanks for responding, Hmm you weren't sorry at the time so guessing this hasn't changed. One would hope the statement you have made is the case for your business and the clients you rent to after all this time, growth is nothing but positive. I am surprised to hear we were that "forgettable" as tenants although I guess not that surprised as you washed your hands of us the moment we paid our deposit and signed, we certainly and sadly can't erase our terrible experience dealing with Knights.
