A very professional team led by superb solicitor who acted for me both on a sale and purchase of a property, He answered all my questions quickly and explained any legal issues suscinkly. It made the whole process much easier and I would highly recommend Knights as an excellent firm of solicitors.

Jodie Coy and her team made the sale and purchase of our property straightforward. The property we sold had an unusual lease and freehold arrangement, coupled with the purchase of a new build there were many challenges. Recommended.

Happy customer

We had our case handled by Jodie Coy mainly, but whenever she was not available, there was always someone to step in and follow-up our case. We needed swift actions and we got them. Thank you Jodie, Sharon, Fiona, Emily, George and Liam.

Warning

Avoid this company at all costs. They will begin work you never requested and charge you for everything, including emails and phone calls. Do not sign anything. I was told I'd receive a quote after signing their terms. I signed because I was effectively told it was an NDA, and when I disputed that it was not, they said their terms of agreement include the NDA. I'm not paranoid, and I hadn't ordered any work, I ordered a quote, so it didn't even cross my mind that they would presume to charge me before sending a quote. Instead, the lawyer appointed himself my employee without my approval, and sent a £3,000+ bill within a week- for work I didn't request! Their disputes team admitted there was a miscommunication but insisted the signed document made it irrelevant. Their logic boils down to: "We're charging you because we can, not because you authorised any work."

An excellent experience

I had a wonderful experience using Minal and Kate for the purchase of my property. Everything was dealt with in a timely manner and to the highest level of detail. I was kept fully informed throughout the process with no questions level unaddressed. The team made the purchase of my home as simple as possible and for that I am extremely grateful. I would most definitely recommend their services.

Excellent proactive service

Sammie is thorough, professional and proactive, all vital skills for pushing through the sale of my flat. The estate agents also praised her responsiveness towards them which they greatly appreciated. I would highly recommend Sammie and Knights to anyone requiring conveyancing services.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! READ THE BAD REVIEWS! THEY ARE ACCURATE!!! My last detailed review of Knights was deleted… How powerful are this corporate law firm to get my review deleted? I used them for conveyance on a repossessed leasehold flat. I paid £5,250 in legal fees for a very small amount of basic work. My solicitor held up the proceedings by one month. He advised me that repossessions “were different”. So myself & Knights pointlessly chased the management pack from the management company. It is actually unlawful to get the management pack directly due to GDPR. My Knights solicitor did not know this?? How? ALSO and very pertinently, my deal with Knights was for £5,400 to complete the whole purchase within 12 weeks. So they held me up for a month. I was not advised in the 6 page quote that after 12 weeks they charge £450 per hour. Just as we finally got the management pack (which was down to me enquiring!). I was able to investigate the freeholders and see that they had a very, very bad reputation. SO I paid nearly the full amount for a completed sale, for basically a load of cut & pastes from the bank selling the flat. And the management pack, the meat of the legal work was not dissected legally. I ask you, why £5,250?? Do not use this company! I wish I hadn’t!

Fanastic conveyancing service from Kate Herbert associate solicitor at Knights

Kate Herbert represented me in the sale of my property and did an amazing job from start to finish. She was always responsive, explained key concepts clearly and when problems arose was pro-active in proposing solutions. I cannot recommend her highly enough as a conveyancing solicitor.
