A very professional team led by superb solicitor who acted for me both on a sale and purchase of a property, He answered all my questions quickly and explained any legal issues suscinkly. It made the whole process much easier and I would highly recommend Knights as an excellent firm of solicitors.

Exceptional lawyers

I’ve not had great experiences with lawyers in the past but I can honestly say that Asim & John are one of the best I’ve ever used. Fantastic work by Asim & John, who went above and beyond to deliver a brilliant result. The level of service was second to none and the fees charged were more than reasonable. I would highly recommend Asim & John to anyone who is after a lawyer who actually knows what they’re doing, is not interested in wasting your time / money and is fully committed on getting you the result.

Misled on charging

Bad experience and the solicitor was unprofessional and I felt I was badly/inconsistently advised and overcharged. I was mislead in to believing that a junior member of staff would complete most of the work - every hour I was billed was for a partner. even for basic administrative tasks. I would not recommend or use again.

Overcharge and do not act in clients interests

I would not recommend this solicitor because in my experience Knights do not act in their customers best interests and charging is inflated, excessive and exceeds agreed caps. I was seeking advice on an employment matter and was billed thousands of pounds. I was advised by another solicitor that I could have accessed the advice I needed, in a more cost effective way from a direct access barrister, without having to pay a solicitor at all. Knights did not alert me to the this option. At the outset the Knights Solicitor said he charged £330 an hour but he assured me that the work would largely be completed by a cheaper more junior solicitor- this did not happen. I was billed £330 for every single hour logged to the case. This even stretched to administrative tasks, as well as, the time he spent telling me about his family’s health, and eating a chicken Caesar salad, at a meeting (this was a mid afternoon meeting which was organised in pub, at his request). Knights admit these things happened at the meeting but claim the cost of the meeting was discounted - it wasn’t. The solicitor also overran the funding cap he specified without my consent. He also inflated costs by insisting on pointless phone meetings I didn’t want - these cost hundreds of pounds. This issue of overcharging is still unresolved after my complaint to Knights.

Fantastic firm

Fantastic firm. Absolutely superb service from John Lord and Harry Wells in Litigation, and also previously had brilliant advice and support in respect of commercial leases from Awen Jones, and Graeme Dixon. At all levels, whether partner, associate, trainee or paralegal I have only ever had exceptional client care, and brilliant advice.

Bad experience and the solicitor was…

Bad experience and the solicitor was clearly unprofessional and inexperienced I will not use again and I would take my husbands advice and use a firm with a better reputation next time. Their reviews are shocking
