Wouldn't quote for an ex pat because I'm in my 40's. (need to be under 30, wft?)

My recent dissatisfactory experience with Kencoo Insurance, As a loyal customer for four years, I was shocked and appalled by the treatment I received regarding my insurance policy. Despite faithfully renewing my policy without any issues, I was forced to cancel it due to passing my taxi exam. This decision was made without any opportunity for negotiation or discussion, and I was deprived of the no claims bonus rightfully owed to me for four years. Additionally, I was threatened with enforcement on my policy, preventing me from purchasing any other insurance in the future, which I found to be intimidating and coercive. This is unacceptable ethically to treat a customer this way, especially when I genuinely mentioned that I hadn't received my license yet and would inform them on the same date I received approval to cancel the policy. However, my request was declined, and I was threatened with enforcement, which I find to be a horrible policy and service practice. The lack of options provided to me and the rushed nature of the decision reflect poorly on the integrity and professionalism of Kencoo Insurance. Poor company policies and procedures resulting in mistreatment. Overall, my experience with Kencoo Insurance has been deeply disappointing, and I would caution others against trusting this company with their insurance needs.

Policy includes breakdown recovery and car hire. Was told 60 minutes on first call. 2hrs later and 5th call trying to find out what's happening, I got told at least 30 minutes more. Still no call from driver. And car hire only available on weekdays. Thought they were good until I actually had to use them. Update 7/52024 In the reply from KennCo on here, they said to email them to discuss further. Thing is, I already emailed them 2 days ago. Clearly they prioritise TrustPilot reviews which can be seen publicly, rather than actually replying to customers that contact directly

Very disappointed with customer service, i can't even imagine an insurance company put you on hold for more than 20 minutes each time you call them, and after 20 minutes you have to talk to someone who have no idea what customer service is, definitely not recommended,

Have been with KennCo for 6 years great insurance company prices unbeatable.

I have just renewed with kennco for a 4th year and they have been great, always pleasant and helpful via phone and providing quality breakdown assistance on a couple of occasions. Torie was of great help today in trying to find the best value quote for me. Thanks again.

Good luck trying to get hold of them when you have a breakdown. 3 calls, each waiting for 20 min+ then eventually giving up! Can't wait to switch

Renewed policy with kennco again as usual no problem best company I've used ,very efficient and friendly best insurance company in Ireland highly recommended

Got insurance with them today. David could not have been more helpful. The cheapest company by a mile. Definitely recommend.

please, please AVOID this company at all costs, will not close claims, keep things dragging out, have to constantly chase after them for information, very suspicious and different information given each time, blatant rude employee named Pat who deals with claims, very hard to get in contact with him, ring multiple times and he’s always on call, was told once he was on holidays, rang back a few hours later and told he was on a call, he is always on a call but does nothing to help, took them almost 3 years to get medical reports, read the reviews on here and stay away, might be a cheap quote but it’ll cost you in the event of an accident.

Absolute disgrace of an insurance company. Disaster when calling no communication in office at all. Have comprehensive cover window screen included. Glass on window screen had to be resealed rang after speaking with numerous people over 2days on a recorded phone call was told this was covered in policy only to be left waiting to call back to be told they don't cover wear and tear my cars 6 years old and nowhere does it state this on my policy documents. If my window screen had a small chip that would be covered ridiculous. Rang company to pay privately to be told that its an airbag safety issue and should be covered under windowscreen cover along with contacting many other companies to confirm same. Yes the price is good when taking out policy but not worth the hassle they will do anything not to accept a claim. AVOID AT ALL COSTS

I would honestly recommend this insurance company/broker , my renewal has been a bit of a headache and suzie in the renewals team has gone above and beyond to help me out . Great customer service from her . I've been with kenco for a number of years and every year they beat all quotes by other companies.

Rude & lazy agents. Don't want to do their job, don't want to explain what is asked, etc.

I don't much care about customer service promotion or anything else. The only thing I need as a long experienced driver is the license to drive. Crazy when you compare the price of another insurances includet bonus discount

Fantastic car insurance company. So easy to get set up with car insurance. Stephen was brilliant to deal with and answered all the questions I needed.

It's state on the website that you can insure a not owned car, so you do all the quotes, they even ask the relationship status with the person that own the car and at the end when you call, "no it's not possible to issue a policy if the car is not at your name" wasting of time, good only to attract people.
