I have donated multiple cars with Kars4Kids and have had no issues. Until this time. Getting in contact with the towing company to pick up the car took 4 days, when it's supposed to be within 24 hours. Once that communication was established though, the car got picked up same day and there was no issues. So, outside of the initial issues with getting the pick up scheduled, it was an easy experience.

They claim to be helping kids while helping donors with Tax breaks but the company doesn't actually donate cars to kids nor give anything more than the $500 minimum value for your donation. They took a donated 2007 Ford Focus, no accidents, 147k miles, no mechanical issues, minor cosmetic dent and "sold" it for 275$. They claim this was done by their "partner" but it feels like a scam since the minimum value for the car was more than 5x's this amount. They (the "partner") likely turned around and sold the car as used for around 3k~5K. The sheer metal in the car would have SCRAPPED for more than 275$. Avoid this 'charity' scam at all costs. Edit update: I had already spoken to the support staff for kars4kids and was simply told that this is how their process is. Again - avoid at all costs, it's a scam.

The driver who responded quickly to my request and came to tow my car was very kind and nice. And after that, Kids and Cars kindly guided me through my shortcomings on the document, so I was very satisfied that I was able to complete and finish all of them well.

Had never done this before, but true too the advertisement it was fast and very easy. With in 24 hrs of going online to imput my information my car was picked up. It really was that easy.

The team was very responsive. When our first pickup did not happen, They rescheduled quickly.
Kars4Kids was great, they removed the vehicle very quickly. The rep from Kars4Kids was very nice. I would use Kars4Kids again to remove a donated vehicle. I am very happy with their service.
All worked out in good timing. Only one word is that it was difficult for the towing company to respond to my calls. They did not respond, but Kars for Kids were able to contact the towing company and the towing company finally called back. All in all, it was a good experience and a great way to help your organization.

You run a really tight ship. The process is clear, quick and efficient. Both the online and automated process but also the human contact (real people picking up the phone, leaving messages). And even your towing companies - I’ve operated with two on different occasions - are professional. It’s clear why your organization is successful.
