They were so helpful after I nearly cancelled through another company giving me a really crazy price which was more than my trip - Couldn't do enough to help and restored my confidence that I wasn't the liability I felt I was.

I feel I have to steel myself to telephone this company regarding my husbandβs travel insurance. He is a 72 year old with existing health problems. It is not sufficient to say that he has angina, has had two bypasses etc. You are questioned to within an inch of your life. What tablets does he take? Why does he take them? Having said he takes tablets for high cholesterol you are then asked if he has ever had high cholesterol !!!!!! Having been told he takes tablets for high blood pressure you are asked if he has ever had high blood pressure. I can tell you I had high blood pressure by the time I had finished with them. There seems to be no end to the nonsensical questions asked. Has he ever had cancer - Yes. 30 plus years ago and all fine and no further treatment. Then you are asked βWithin the last 6 months, year or more than five?β Which category does 30 come in I wonder? There is a vast difference between cancer in the last six months/year than 30+ years ago with no recurrence!!! At the end of all these questions you are then quoted an extortionate sum of money and told - well its because you stay for longer than the average time. I accepted the quote purely because I could not go through all the questions again with another company. When you think of everything logically, a person like my husband who is regularly controlled by his GP and consultant has far less chance of dying abroad than someone like me who never goes to the doctor so therefore has no known illnesses and could drop dead tomorrow from an undiagnosed problem - but does not pay an extortionate premium. In fact gets it free with the bank.

Very fair and reasonable price insurance with clear policy details regarding cost, benefits, excess (if any) and contact details. We were so impressed that we arranged a separate insurance with the same company for our daughter for one of her trips.

The consultant on the phone knew what I wanted, sorted it out very professionally and was very friendly. We used this company for our last cruise that my wife booked but i did not know this till after I had booked and she told me. She also said that they were the best
