Went to the website on my phone, got bombarded with intrusive pop-ups which I couldn't be arsed to try and close.
I'v been a customer of JR for 10 yrs, only once did I have a problem and they fixed it right away. A few Tips, 1st, use PayPal to pay. 2nd, Only buy full boxes 3, Put in Freezer for 3 days (kills Mites) 4, Store in ZipLock Bag with 72 -60 gr Boveda. They will stay "perfect" for a long long time.

If I could give this place a -star I would I ordered for my son in law got Christmas and when they came in everything was dried out and broken. I called they sent out a replacement order and waited again for the order to arrive and what to my eye I find everything was damaged just as bad if not worse then the first cigars that was ordered. How does a business stay open if they continue to send bad products out? I called and after being on hold for 45 minutes and talking to a supervisor I finally was told I would be able to get a refund. Now two weeks before Christmas I need for figure out something else for my son in law as a gift….
The company text me a coupon code it never works. I was told they have a problem with there system
Ordered a box of cigars it was supposed to come with a free bonus leather cigar holder as part of the deal. My box of cigars arrived. I never got the leather holder. Emailed them three times before someone replied, they stated those bonuses are only available while supplies last of course you think they would take that offer away if they didn’t have those in stock felt like it was a scam. I emailed them back to voice, my opinion and of course they haven’t replied I won’t be doing business with them again. They could’ve apologized and offered another bonus to me to keep me happy.
3rd time this has happened we were shorted on our order. We were suppose to get a bonus pack of cigars and they never came, even tho they showed on our invoice. After the order was placed, poof! the bonus pack of cigars are off the invoice and they do nothing to support or make the order right. We are done.
These are superb cigars. The taste is exquisite. The smoke is long, as I enjoy. The quality versus the price is phenomenal. The post office took a long time but that has zero bearing on the company. They have a new loyal customer.
I order some cigars which were available and I get a good deal because of a coupon and fair prices , and the full amount is debited on my credit card they ship the package and after I receive it, I get an email saying that some items were not available and ı would be credited. I should have been warned before the package was shipped out, I go to double down on the part that was available and ı see that they bumped the prices by 40% on what's available. never seen such a thing before.
I ordered cigars on sept 14th with the “best shipping” method 3-8 days with USPS for $8.99. The tracking number shows them in transit in NC since the 15th. I have called their customer service, and was told they won’t even track it until it is 14 business days old. The rep seemed annoyed that I was inquiring to the whereabouts of the shipment. They still won’t track them on Oct. 3rd and do not seem to care at all. I am going to dispute the charge with the credit card company. Then they can track down the dry cigars and take them back to the warehouse.
I have ordered cigars from JR Cigars on multiple occasions and have been impressed. They have great specials and quick shipping. The last order I made there was a mix up but after I made a call they sent the right cigars immediately. Nice people and great service. Highly recommend.
***Update to my below review*** After keeping the cigars for almost a year in those special bags, my brother tried one on the way to Vegas. I tried one myself and definitely is better than a year ago. I guess you have to keep this cigars for a long time before smoking. The aroma is now stronger. Perhaps JR cigars should order in advance on their side and keep them for a year before selling or add a disclaimer to smoke after a year. ***Old review*** This review is regarding the quality of cigars not the company. I ordered a box of 25 Tatiana rum classic. It came on time. Usually I purchase a few great quality cigars at a store for $7.00 a piece. JR Cigars sells much cheaper and I decided to give it a shot, bad move from my part. The cigars taste horrible, flavor is there but the the quality of tabaco must be the worst on the planet. Unfortunately I pass the 30 days return window . Learn from my mistake, nobody will sell a cigar that cheap unless they take shortcuts in quality.
Order placed 20 days ago. Never received it. Tracking shows it was lost in transit. JR customer service refusing to give me a refund and refusing to reship it. I’ve contacted them 6 times. Do not give these people your money
Got a few boxes of Tabak Especial cigars and was satisfied. This past month I am being shipped cigars I did not order and billed on my credit card. Do not trust them with putting a credit card on file!
Everyday for the past several years I get about five or six email spams from JR cigars. In these past couple years I've talked on the phone with their customer service a good 20 times plus, every time being assured that the email would stop and that they would take care of it. Nothing ever seems to happen I guess they have a habit of just sweeping it under the rug. Well looking through all the reviews apparently many other people have the same complaint. I wish I didn't even have to give you one star a tenth of a star would be more like it. I read reviews of Jr'cigars on BBB and they graded the company with a letter grade of f. I'll be going there next to write another review with them.
Worst service in the world. DO not purchase anything from this company! They take your order and say they ship next day, never ships and they never call or email you. When you call about the shipment status they say some issue with the address approval, we have purchased from this company in the past, when you ask what the issue is they can't tell you and they will call you back in 24-48 hours, are kidding if I could wait I would not had paid for next day delivery. Again, this company is a big JOKE, don't do business with this company!!!
According to JR Cigars, their system go hacked and thus my internal JR cigar account got hacked. Now the only way for me to place orders with them is to get a new e-mail address, what a sham this is, I have been working in IT for 30 + years and to say to an person to go get another e-mail address because our system go hacked is a disgrace.
Horrbile. 8 days after ordering cigars I have no idea if or when they'll ship. Called them and was told it looks like the order was pulled but had no info? First and last time!! Should've just stuck with CI where I get my cigars within a few days. Lesson learned. BEWARE!!
My experience has been horrendous. I ordered some cigars for my boyfriend's birthday, and they were never even shipped, was never even contacted. I cancelled the order and wanted a full refund of $148. I received $91.58, and I didn't receive ANYTHING from them. It has been over 2 weeks since I cancelled and I just now got refunded, and it wasn't even the full amount. I will NEVER EVER order from this company again.
