Tech support failure

I have been using iDrive for several years to backup our desktop and laptop PC. I have generally been quite happy with the product until now. Seven weeks ago iDrive started failing during online backup of one particular 256MB file. After many interactions with support they referred it to their "backend team". There has been no progress and not a word. I ping them every week and get the same response. I've had to resort to a local backup which I then copy to Google Drive. I will note that this is about 20X faster than IDrive online backup.

So far I am happy with iDrive.

I have only begun using iDrive. I have used other backup systems which seemed confusing to me so that I was never sure I was doing it correctly. So far, I like iDrive because it has a user-friendly interface for someone not really computer-savvy. I can back up to my external hard drive as well as the cloud, both backups can be accessed readily. I can backup on demand or on a pre-selected schedule. I have not yet tried the restore function. I have not yet made a mirror image of my computer, but to back up all my personal data took about 3 hours. Incremental backups take a few minutes. So far I am happy and have recommended iDrive to two people in my life.

Great Introductory Offer & User Friendly…

I got a great introductory offer and the software is more user friendly than the Acronis package I replaced it with. Understandably, the first full backup took a long time. But the second was completed in just five minutes as only amended or new files were needed.

Best and Most reliable Cloud Service

I was scouring online for a new and reliable cloud service after using Google Drive and One Drive for years. Other clouds like Drop Box, Box, and Amazon have major limitations in both the subscription and the cloud service itself. IDrive was the only one that stood out from others. Right away it offers the best deals for their yearly subscriptions and makes the process to set up the cloud quick, simple, and without hassle. Once you get into the cloud service it has a well-designed and easy to navigate interface. Uploading, downloading, previewing, arranging, organizing, ect is all very smooth. The desktop sync tray gives you full controls unlike other cloud services and it's always had about the same or faster speeds with uploads and downloads compared to Google Drive and others. IDrive is packed with features, reliable security, and overall the exact kind of cloud service I have been searching for. One of the best parts of IDrive is the customer support that responds instantly every time I have contacted them. They are always precise, informative, kind, and a pleasant experience. I highly recommend IDrive to anyone looking for the best of the best when it comes to cloud services, backup, and a premium-quality professional service.

Fast with native qnap nas support

Searched for a cloud backup solution that has native support for my NAS. Finally found idrive, which was cheaper than my previous cloud backup provider. The backup speed is super fast - fully saturated my 100mbps uplink and uploaded 5TB in less than one week!

Forløb for udskiftning af glas

Fik at vide, at de forventede glas komme ca 4 dage, og man ville ringe for aftale for mont. Ringede selv, da jeg ikke hørte noget, og fik svaret, at de ikke havde det endnu, men de ringer, når de har det. Ringede i fredags, at de nu havde det, og ville komme lørdag. Da jeg opholdt mig et andet sted, fik de den adresse, men det gik ikke, så de skulle komme i dag. Ringede, fik at vide, at nej de skulle ikke komme i dag, men på torsdag på den adresse, hvor jeg var i lørdags, og nej de fik først reservedele i morgen, så nu kommer de onsdag på min adresse, nu fik de flyttet mig hjem. Forvirret? Ja. Tror jeg på onsdag? Nej, men håber. Hr forsøgt at kontakte support, med det foregår på skriftlig engelsk. Yderlige skulle jeg have tekniker her i går, onsdag meller 16-20. Ringede til dem kl 17, for at være sikker på, at det var noteret. Men ingen tekniker kom, så nu er min tålmodighed ved at slutte

Clean and clear (please keep this service going)

Uploading and downloading has been fast and smooth. Couldn’t be easier to backup your data and keep it organized thanks to the clear interface. Now I just hope you keep this service going since this is my third one I’ve had to switch to because of companies ‘changing focus’ (Currently Amazon)

It's the perfect tool if you've got multiple workstations. Capable of loads of stuff. It'll upload all your data and then make it easier for you to access it, too. Cool app. The most secure and trustworthy cloud storage app.

Very slow

IDrive is incredibly slow in both upload and download and generates errors frequently. I've been using it for 6 months and my experience hasn't improved. The program doesn't remember preferences I've saved either so I cannot schedule backup. No idea why this is so highly reviewed on many websites.
