Terrible experience. Customer service was virtually nonexistent. I contacted them multiple times by phone and email to rearrange a delivery and got no help at all. In the end, I was charged a hefty return fee, didn’t receive the item I ordered, and wasted hours dealing with an unhelpful delivery service. They use poorly rated couriers, which I’ve since seen mentioned in other reviews. I ended up going to a high street retailer instead and placed the same order with no fuss. Avoid.
Never got my sofa as the delivery company they use Arrow XL are shockingly inefficient. Address entered incorrectly. Failure to adhere to their own policies of contact prior to delivery, and autonomy to change delivery dates with no consideration for working people’s lives. I wasted so much time on the phone to both the delivery company and The actual clients. Had I known that this would be such an issue I

First a quick appraisal for the staff they have working for them - specifically Roisin. She was incredibly calm, and easy to talk to.
I had ordered a Ometa Air Conditioner in Space Grey" but when it arrived it showed "Black" on the box and the casing itself looks black.
After calling and getting through to Roisin she explained that it was the correct item that had been sent, just that the images being used online do not truly marry up to what you get. To which a suitable resolution was made on the phone and actioned within a couple of minutes.
Moral of the story, don't trust what you see online, its all photoshopped.
As for the company itself, you do need to make sure you're selling what your showing. I could have quite easily... lost my cool... about this whole situation. Delivered in a fairly timely manner, and overall experience was pleasant enough. You've been spared 2 stars because of Roisin.
Great price. Fantastic communication and express delivery. Ordered and delivered within 36 hrs. Well worth paying the extra for express delivery and still cheaper than other sellers. Ordered Nairn chair for parents. Perfect experience.
Late, no communications ahead of time until you contact the customer service. Not updating what is going on between two hours of the given expected time of arrival.
First class communication from placing the order to delivery. The recliner chair was delivered within 2 days by a very helpful driver. Very pleased with the quality of the chair and it was very easy to assemble. Thank you for your professional service.
ordered 3 seater and a 2 seater in grey colour.. they are both different shades tobeach other... legs were missing legsband cushions.. buttons were damaged n factory glue was on sofa impossible to remove it... u can not return items if they have been openes... rubbish return policy.. offered partial refund which was no good.
Purchased a Thomas Velvet Fabric 2 Seater Sofa, Black. There is either a fault in the sofa or it requires an act of God to try and assemble the back panel to the sides of the sofa. I have contacted Home Detail who, in fairness have been responsive, but the issue is still not resolved. My one star is for the product rather than the Company.
