Terrible experience. Customer service was virtually nonexistent. I contacted them multiple times by phone and email to rearrange a delivery and got no help at all. In the end, I was charged a hefty return fee, didn’t receive the item I ordered, and wasted hours dealing with an unhelpful delivery service. They use poorly rated couriers, which I’ve since seen mentioned in other reviews. I ended up going to a high street retailer instead and placed the same order with no fuss. Avoid.
Never got my sofa as the delivery company they use Arrow XL are shockingly inefficient. Address entered incorrectly. Failure to adhere to their own policies of contact prior to delivery, and autonomy to change delivery dates with no consideration for working people’s lives. I wasted so much time on the phone to both the delivery company and The actual clients. Had I known that this would be such an issue I

First a quick appraisal for the staff they have working for them - specifically Roisin. She was incredibly calm, and easy to talk to.
I had ordered a Ometa Air Conditioner in Space Grey" but when it arrived it showed "Black" on the box and the casing itself looks black.
After calling and getting through to Roisin she explained that it was the correct item that had been sent, just that the images being used online do not truly marry up to what you get. To which a suitable resolution was made on the phone and actioned within a couple of minutes.
Moral of the story, don't trust what you see online, its all photoshopped.
As for the company itself, you do need to make sure you're selling what your showing. I could have quite easily... lost my cool... about this whole situation. Delivered in a fairly timely manner, and overall experience was pleasant enough. You've been spared 2 stars because of Roisin.
This is the most horryfing shopping experience of my life. I am trying to decorate my rented flat on the budget as a single female it’s hard to do. I was so excited about my first sofa purchase it was discounted beautifully done with golden legs and navy velvet. Unfortunately sofa was so uncomfortable I would prefer sitting on the floor. It was so bad… I kindly asked to return in put it all to the box packed well , only to find out it’s going to cost me £66 to return as I have to pay for shipping costs absolute scam of the company I am so sad and upset about it , I send it back got money back minus the shipping cost . Will avoid this company at all cost and spread this information to how many people I can . Please avoid !!!!!
The 2-seat sofa I purchased seems excellent. However Home Detail should make it clear in their product description that it is delivered packed in a large cardboard box that some customers may find difficult to unpack and discard without assistance. It would have helped assembly if the threaded holes for the four legs were free of swarf that made screwing in the legs difficult and could result in cross-threading.
