Terrible experience. Customer service was virtually nonexistent. I contacted them multiple times by phone and email to rearrange a delivery and got no help at all. In the end, I was charged a hefty return fee, didnβt receive the item I ordered, and wasted hours dealing with an unhelpful delivery service. They use poorly rated couriers, which Iβve since seen mentioned in other reviews. I ended up going to a high street retailer instead and placed the same order with no fuss. Avoid.
Never got my sofa as the delivery company they use Arrow XL are shockingly inefficient. Address entered incorrectly. Failure to adhere to their own policies of contact prior to delivery, and autonomy to change delivery dates with no consideration for working peopleβs lives. I wasted so much time on the phone to both the delivery company and The actual clients. Had I known that this would be such an issue I
Would have avoided this company at all costs. Iβm about to request my refund - watch this space!
First a quick appraisal for the staff they have working for them - specifically Roisin. She was incredibly calm, and easy to talk to.
I had ordered a Ometa Air Conditioner in Space Grey" but when it arrived it showed "Black" on the box and the casing itself looks black.
After calling and getting through to Roisin she explained that it was the correct item that had been sent, just that the images being used online do not truly marry up to what you get. To which a suitable resolution was made on the phone and actioned within a couple of minutes.
Moral of the story, don't trust what you see online, its all photoshopped.
As for the company itself, you do need to make sure you're selling what your showing. I could have quite easily... lost my cool... about this whole situation. Delivered in a fairly timely manner, and overall experience was pleasant enough. You've been spared 2 stars because of Roisin.
Excellent customer service throughout the process. There was a little bit of damage to one of the arms but this was very quickly sorted and a new one sent with no problem. Very happy indeed with our purchase
Fantastic sofas, really comfy, great value, super quick delivery, thank you. Only way anything could be better would be if the back cushions were both feather and foam like the base cushions
not recieved my order courier they used is a joke , told me on the day of delivery with no prior notice that item was out for delivery when i was at work , there tracking had no way of diverting or rescheduling , and said they would leave a card to reschedule delivery and was nothing through my door contacted both the company and the courier , but if i dont have a resolution or some update asap i will be contacting bank and getting my money back. Not happy right now.
I have noticed that Home Detail only respond to positive reviews but never answer those who are very unhappy. I was going to purchase some items from them however will now not do so.
I was somewhat shocked, I had no idea my sofa bed came in boxes, when I ordered it nothing was mentioned. The delivery men were very pleasant and apologetic. Not at all pleased should have been mentioned when I ordered the sofa bed.
I would have given 5 stars but delivery wasn't the best. FedEx was used and I was advised the order was to be delivered two days in a row but wasn't and the tracking said not even attempted, I had stayed in as a signature was required. On the third day I had to go out and tried to sign in advance on the FedEx system but it wouldn't allow me to do this. I came back to find a card saying that delivery was attempted but I wasn't here to sign for it! The order finally arrived on the fourth day. I'm happy with the dehumidifier I ordered and it was at a good price, however, the delivery issues have put me off ordering from Home Detail again.
