Five Star Properties and Bliss Beach Rentals

We stayed in a beautiful property that gave us many options for our wedding. With Hurricane Delta making a close call, it was good to have a rain plan even though we ultimately didn’t have to use it and was able to use our first choice (the beach) for our wedding.

The property was amazing! New build with every detail thought of. Roomy and beautifully furnished. Outdoor area spacious and beautiful. Resort style pool and hot tub.

Semi-True is an amazing beach home to have a family get together! We had family from Atlanta, Chattanooga, Knoxville, and Colorado who gathered for a week. We each had our own rooms with bathrooms and the large open floor plan for the kitchen/living room/dining room was comfortable for all. Having the pool and hottub gave us the option to swim and relax at night and we did every night. You will not be disappointed. The Five Star Property is awesome to work with. They answered all questions before and were were quickly responsive when we had a quesion while we were there. We have used this company several yeasr and We will defintiely use them in the future.

We had a great time at our beach rental for the week! However, we noticed the couch covers were pretty dingy and could use a professional cleaning. Our house also lacked a Keurig which would have been a nice touch. But overall, this house was in a great location with quick access to the beach! We would definitely book this property again!

House is showing wear, especially at kitchen wood floors, LR rug, carpet on third level. Both ice machines were frozen up, we defrosted by shutting them down and managing water as they defrosted. Pool is stained, had problem with pool circulation system, with help of management staff, figured out it was due to low water level, meaning was not checked out on day of our checkin, two days prior. Two of the deck table checks were broken, refrig had broken shelf and missing glass on another shelf. For a high end property, these kind of items should not be present.

We loved the house. My grandkids loved the bunk room. I wanted to let you know that the tubs upstairs drained very slow. Also, the outlets in the bathroom between upstairs bedroom and living room did not work. The hose outside could definitely use a new faucet handle. Minor issues. Beach Bliss was a very nice house with excellent layout. Clean, convenient, lots of room. No issues at all. FiveStar Properties did a great job with smooth rental process. As with most beach houses in this area, wifi is spotty, but our phones had good signal, so really no problem. I would definitely rent this property and use FiveStar again.

This house was very offensively dirty when we arrived. We arrive at 4pm, we called and reported the bed was unmade downstairs, sheets were dirty, cleaning equipment and supplies all over floor, floors were nasty, kitchen counters had sticky all over, dining room table looked liked it had not been cleaned in a month, could barely see out window in back looking at ocean and it smelled like it had been closed up for months. The chairs and seating on deck were splinted wood without cushions that fit. We ended up with splinters in legs and arms. Called twice, it was 7:30 before anyone called us back to get taken care of. They sent someone and she was so very nice to get it cleaned up for us. We usually rent the house next door but waited too late and could not get the time we needed. We have never had a problem there. This is house is very dated and way over priced for the experience you get. Everything is very worn and just dirty. Even the packaged towels were dirty and had horrible stains on them. We were so very disappointed in the house and the response time to get anything done. We could not even enjoy sitting outside on the deck. We called the next morning to report the coffee maker did not work, they still have not called us back! LOL.

This location is great, about a 6 to 7 minute walk to the beach. The pool at the house was nice for when you return back from the beach. The house is located on a quiet lake with a paddle boat to enjoy. This is a nice house to spend time with your family. Our vactaion was in October so we paid for the pool to be heated and that was a good idea.

Best costumer service.

We spend Labor Day weekend at Bourbon Beech for my husbands 40th birthday. It could not have been a better trip! Close to the beach and enough room for 7 couples. The house was clean and sanitized when we arrived. We will definitely book again!

We rented two separate Five Star properties during our stay in Destin, FL. The first, Las Olas, was outdated and needed some major upgrades. We entered the property to find huge roaches and breakers tripped in the house. The very tiny pool (looked more like a hot tub) was dirty and there was trash around the property in the dune areas. The view of the beach was spectacular, and beach access right off the back porch. However, we would not recommend this property, especially for the price we paid. The second property was Seas the Day. Beautiful condo with great view of the gulf. Beach access was easy, and nice shared pool on the property. Beach umbrella service was provided daily. The condo had everything we needed. We only had a couple of issues: the dishwasher caught fire and Five Star sent out a maintenance tech. We shut off the breaker to the dishwasher and he said they’d need to replace the faulty unit. They didn’t replace it while we were there, so we hand washed our dishes the entire stay. The TV had a few issues, but we found a loose cable connected to the receiver. After we fixed it, we had no problems afterwards. Overall a very nice condo and we would stay at Seas the Day again.

The home was excellent. The air down stairs was not cooling and we had to purchase fans which the company reimbursed. Over all I will be renting this home again. I loved the company will definitely do my rentals through them.

We loved the house and everything was amazing in spite of the bad weather threat. The maintenance man had to come to repair a previous problem and he was SUPER helpful!

The house was amazing and everything we needed. I think that 14 people would have been a tight fit but it was perfect for 3 couples. The beach chair setup and bikes are wonderful bonuses to the house. Michelle was who I worked with from the start and she went over and beyond to make our visit unforgettable. Definitely recommend this home and Five Star Gulf Rentals.

Floors were filthy. Baseboards disgusting. Cobwebs in the lamp shades. Rain poured in master bedroom window above sliding doors. Poorly stocked kitchen-couldn’t cook. Dishwasher ancient. Settings on oven rubbed off, didn’t know mode or temp. Stovetop filthy. Table filthy. Dryer took 3 cycles to dry. A/C wouldn’t turn off 1st floor. Vents dripped condensation on couch and chairs. Queen Bed in room with queen/twins squeaked LOUDLY. Patio furniture on 3rd floor balcony unusable. Mildew in master shower. Expected more for the price. Great location, great floor plan. Poorly maintained. Owner/management should spend a week in property...each bedroom/bathroom and compile their own list of issues.

This place blew my mind. Absolutely stunning home and just steps away from the emerald waters of Miramar Beach! The house was perfect in every way, very clean, spacious, and ideally located next to a coffee shop and restaurant. We barely left the 12 foot radius of this house, because everything we needed was just right there! We had a great time and would stay again/recommend to anyone. It's a bit pricey but it delivers and you won't regret it!

We absolutely loved our condo at The Grandview. It was our first time to stay there as we have stayed at Silver Dunes for the past 15 years because we love the beach service with George who has since retired. We were looking for another condo and came across The Grandview so we thought we would give it a try. The beach service was great, everything was clean, and when we had a problem it was solved quickly. We will return for sure. I believe this place will be a favorite.

Our family thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Your home is beautiful and very practical for the needs of the area.
