Five Star Properties and Bliss Beach Rentals

Five Stare was easy to work with for reservations and pre-arrival communications. The house was clean and as great as we hoped for. The arrival day was a little disappointing in that we arrived early and knew that we had to wait for inspection before they could release the house to us. The inspector came and went, but it took another 45 min and 2 phone calls to get Five Star to "release" the house and let us go in. The inspector was rude and unfriendly...even just trying to say hello to him in the driveway. Overall, I think I will use Five Star again for my rental needs.

Great experience the whole way around!

The property we stayed at was perfect for our family vacation. Five Star Properties was easy to communicate with. They called after our first night, just to make sure everything was good for us. The property was well maintained. There were a few things that could have been better, but nothing that would hinder me from renting this property again.

We have rented 4 or 5 times now with Five Star. We have loved each house but this house AMAZING, the owners thought of everything to make this house as luxurious as possible. The staff was spectacular! When we checked in, Vince was very clear with what appliances needed maintenance. The work was already scheduled and he was open with us about people coming in to fix them. The only issue we did encounter was addressed immediately. We had a vacation we never wanted to leave! In fact, we left a phone and weekly meds and realized it after we left. Speaking with Vince again, and with the help of Buddy, they retrieved our items and sent them to us! Now if THAT isn't 5-Star service, I don't know what is!

For the price they should be able to buy a new broom. They only cost about $15. It’s hard to sweep sand with that old worn out broom. Also needs new vacuum. That one just dumped half of what was in the bag out on the floor. Wouldn’t pick up anything. Only tried to use it because broom was such bad shape. Otherwise was great stay. Oh if we had not been there in October the upstairs bedrooms would have been to hot. Thank you.

Accommodations were good - access to keys/check in info was a little bit of an inconvenience based on rental office.

Absolutely fabulous location - really can't beat it - with a private beach right out your door, the location is fantastic. Quick drive to the shopping for supplies as well. lots of space for the family to spread out, and multiple floors would make it good for multiple families. Lots of dishes, cups, plates, cutlery, etc. There were a few issues that prevents me from giving it a 5 - late check in time (4PM) really does make it end of day and for the price, would prefer an earlier check in to catch the last rays on the beach day 1. Kitchen is sparse with only a couple garbage bags and dishwasher tablets supplies and no coffee filters. Annoying vs a serious problem. I'm sure the company has a policy of only 2 bags per property, but have a look at supplies vs size of property/# of guests and price per night - treat them like towels! the more guests, the faster the garbage will fill up and more dishwasher loads. There was a bug issue and company offered to send pest control but with kids on premise, that wasn't an option so better pest control in advance. Last, again a small annoyance, the code for bike locks is wrong so had to wait for a call back to get correct code. Also, the pool isn't worth paying the heating for - you likely won't use it if you're like us and prefer the ocean. We didn't set foot in it once, and it is tiny - could maybe fit 3-4 people and that's it. I'd rent again at this property and would know ahead of time on the small annoyances above. IN the end, a very good vacation and great property. Fix the things above, and would be outstanding.

We booked this house a year in advance for fall break because of the great location. The house has an amazing balcony and view of the ocean. The beach access is very easy and quick. Restaurants, Shops, seafood market, etc are all really close by. The rooms were perfect and bedding was very comfortable. I love the new hotel white bedding being used since Covid - this should remain - it feels so clean instead of the old comforters. My only complaint is check-in. Five Star Properties systems and info is top notch compared to many rental agencies - it is not acceptable to not be able to check in at 4pm. The door code would not work and all phone lines were busy. This does not start things off well when you plan your drive to arrive and checkin. Otherwise, we will definitely use Five Star again. Some of the outdoor furniture could use repairs and the carpet inside the house needs some TLC. I previously read reviews about the A/C - this must have been fixed because we had no issues getting the house cool and comfortable and that is always usually an issue for us. Great Vacation!

Five Star Properties was very efficient. We arrived to a very clean and beautiful home. We were disappointed that 2 pool cleaners interrupted our vacation privacy on Friday. Otherwise it was an amazing vacation!

My experience with Five Star Properties has been nothing less than stellar. The staff were professional, polite, attentive and helpful. They returned my calls and answered my question in a timely manner. The property was in pristine condition and absolutely beautiful. 5 STAR RATING for Five Star Properties!

We loved our stay in Seagrove!!! The house was sooo clean and we felt very safe in the midst of a pandemic staying there. My only complaint would be that you have to place a workorder online and we paid for the pool to be heated and nobody came to fix it. I would also recommend a screen cover for the pool when not in use to keep pine needles and frogs out!! We would definitely recommend and will stay again!!!

The home is charming and comfortably housed our group of 9 adults and 3 children. It is on a quiet area of the beach on Blue Mountain Rd. The only challenge was the bathroom situation. 1 master bedroom has a private bath. There is a full bath in the hallway. The other double bathroom was accessed through the gulf front master bedroom. Otherwise, everything was great. The built in extra refrigerator drawers were needed. Kitchen was well stocked with pots, pans, dishes and serving bowls. There were bikes, beach toys and chairs available in the garage. The location was excellent, walking distance to restaurants, and the Health Food Grocery Store. Publix Instacart delivered groceries within 2 hours.

Our rental property (Bourbon Beach) was beautiful and close to perfect! The house is large enough for the whole family, the pool is phenomenal, and the personal sand volleyball court made it even more fun! The availability of the golf cart and the beach set up was a huge perk as well. The company was very responsive to all of our inquiries and maintenance responded quickly when we had one issue. Great company to rent from! Though these seem like rather trivial criticisms, a few things that I would suggest doing to improve the home/stay would be: 1. Place hooks for towels to hang by the pool and hooks for towels/swim suits in the bathrooms. It is really odd to have no hooks for towels in the bathrooms (not even hand towels) and this was a criticism brought up by every single guest individually. 2. Provide more than 1 key fob for the beach access. When you have a home for 24 people, it is inevitable that people would visit the beach at different times. Thanks for the great vacation!

Destiny Shores Wedding Week We had such an incredible experience! The house is beautiful and perfect for our family for our daughter's wedding! We had more than enough room for everyone and easily accommodated other friends and family stopping by all during the week. Five Star Properties provided great service. Check in was simple, any questions were answered immediately. The property was just as described! We couldn't have asked for a better experience! Hope to stay here again for our next group vacation! You won't be sorry if you choose Destiny Shores/Five Star Properties for your vacation!

We have been visiting Destin for more than 30 years and each time stay in a different property. This is the first time we have used Five Star Properties. They were amazing and we will continue to use their rental services in the future. We originally booked our stay online which was easy to navigate and understand, but then had to make some changes in the dates and we called to speak with a booking agent. He was friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. Once we arrived we were extremely pleased with the condition of the property. The guests before us had some problems with the elevator and the owner of the elevator repair company came out on a Sunday and got it fixed. We just sent a text for any questions we had and received a response almost immediately. Over the course of our many years in Destin we have rented from a VRBO several times, but have found that Five Star is the way to go. They pay attention to detail, cleanliness and have an agent available 24/7. We highly recommend Five Star !!

Hey gang - I don't usually write reviews, but our visit to this property was extremely disappointing. This property is NOT "5-stars". I am sure the home was very nice when it was built, but that has been a long time ago. The listing pictures were deceiving, and there are a number of areas that require attention to bring this home up to the level that justifies what is being charged in an off-season per night. We have been a loyal 5-Star client for a number of years, but after this visit I feel deceived and disappointed and it makes me seriously consider trusting the agency for future rentals. Renter beware.

House was clean and well stocked with everything we needed. I did need to call for a vacuum to clean up sand that my kids tracked in. Vacuum was delivered that day. Dryer was not drying the towels on day 2 or 3. I requested service on the app and it was repaired that day.

Very nice property, well taken care of and very user friendly. I would highly recommend this place We will return soon.

What a great stay we had at Luna Sea! Hurricane Sally caused a bit of a blip but the house stood strong! Bikes needed some attention ☹️, but we made do Negotiating the cable-tv was a challenge but very little tv was watched Kitchen furnishings were all we needed Such a great relaxing home! Beds and linens were perfect! All so comfy!!!
