So far so good, switch from BG was easy, the gas took a bit longer to switch over but I think there was a slight issue with connecting to the gas smart meter, but a quick WhatsApp chat later (on a Saturday!) and everything was quickly resolved by Lewis. Impressed with the quick communication. EV tariff from 00:00 to 07:00 is amazing as well, those extra two hours really make a difference!
Hasan was extremely helpful and efficient
They were very helpful and patient. Nice to speak to someone with a genuinely friendly personality. I would recommend them.

I received mail letting me know that my contract was ending an as with all communication EON reminded me that it may be beneficial to change either my tariff or provider. I called EON and was happy with the information and update on fuel prices and advised of my options by a very pleasant and friendly advisor. EON remained the most cost effective for my usage so I remain a customer.

I requested a reduction in the amount of money held in my account for paying monthly energy bills. The response was immediate and money returned to my bank account a few days later after security checks. I missed off the fifth star because the returned amount was smaller than it could have been given that a few days later another monthly direct debit of mine put back into my EON account only slightly less than they had returned to me. So my account is still just as flush with funds after this return. The calculation of the amount returned, therefore, needs to be a bit smarter. The current contract ends last day of August 2025 and there is no way on earth that I can use up my reserve funds on energy over the next month and a half especially since EON have slightly increased my direct debit and my current monthly costs are a lot less than half of the value of the direct debit instruction.
