Good Value for your money

Although at first the price appeared high it’s not when you consider what is actually included: Breakfast Lunch Dinner Bar Snacks each evening Beer and Wine at Lunch and Dinner Tea/Coffee/Hot Chocolate, Cookies 24/7 Popcorn on movie nights. Tours with excellent tour guides. Local entertainment on board ship Professional, friendly, hardworking staff. We did the Danube from Budapest to Passau then a coach to Prague for 4 Days. Our trip included stops of some beautiful places with ample time to explore. Emerald is our β€œgo to” river cruise company which I strongly recommend to others to give them a try.

Our Duoro river cruise was excellent.

Our Duoro river cruise was excellent. All the staff were friendly, efficient and our every need was catered for. The bar staff were great fun. The cabin was comfortable and always kept clean and tidy. We were also impressed that a lot of the staff came from Porto. A beautiful experience. Thank you

The cruise from starts to finish was…

The cruise from starts to finish was memorable for all the right reasons. Staff, the ship, food, accomadation all wonderful. Each day different with multi choices… relax in board, sightsee yourself, sightsee with a guided tour or be adventurous and do an active activity. Something for everyone.

A wonderful holiday

We thought the ship Emerald Sky was very well appointed and comfortable. We liked being able to choose where to sit at meal times. This made it easy to meet an get to know other passengers. We liked the fact that the passengers were so international. The food was excellent. The crew were superb. The included tours were just right, being just half days. On one of these, however, we thought there should have been a rest period half way through, not at the end of two,hours.

The food,staff and stateroom were…

The food,staff and stateroom were lovely. Our big complaint is that we were so looking forward to seeing Budapest on 26th April 2025. We arrived in time for a lovely lunch and then went to catch transport into Budapest to be told the whole of the centre was closed due a bicycle race. Our obvious disappointment was clear to all the staff. Surely this would have been known beforehand and maybe other arrangements made. Please give your comments. Jan and Kevin Elders

The boat and the staff were very good, but...

The boat and the staff were very good. The silly idea of not providing paper maps was a defect. Very little help if you do not fit in with organised trips that set off early. They seem to get the second best berths for the boats after Viking.

Amazing experience
