I have had a really good experience

I have had a really good experience with DLG Legal Services. Always prompt with their communication and well informed. Dealt with a few people within the team and they have all been great. Recently Graham Dent dealt with the case and he was also very good and professional.

Could do better quicker

Needed a lot of chasing to get the claim moving. Had to enlist support of Churchill insurance on 2 occasions, and chase personally via phone calls as emails not answered.

Lauren Hutchinson

Even though my claim took a while to get going, cannot thank Lauren Hutchinson enough for her hard work and dedication. She has been the back bone of my case and has never doubted me throughout the whole process. Communication has been brilliant especially when I had to ring pretty much everyday and she did not mind and always had time for me to offer support and reassurance! I got caught in a position where I needed a form sent to me to see if I could avail myself of DLG's services, but was being sent round the houses trying to find the right person to send it. I hadn't realised I wasn't dealing with DLG themselves, and wrote a 1 star review. By the close of play, DLG had picked up on the issue and I got a call from Tim ( a team leader). Although the failure was not on DLG's side, he just took ownership of the whole issue and getting my application for legal expenses approval submitted. I am hugely grateful: thank you Tim

A company that makes up lies

I was unfortunate that my legal expenses section of my insurance company put me with DLG DLG were at best indifferent and worse totally incompetent To the point I reported them to the Legal Ombudsman Unfortunately when I complained to the Legal Ombudsman I didn't know that DLG had lied to Laura (not given her second name on here) Laura who works in legal expense section of my insurance, Laura contacted DLG many times. Laura told me DLG had said they rang me and discussed a letter sent by the other party's solicitor, and I was happy and aware of their letter. DLG never rang and told me about the letter, I didn't know anything about the letter. Laura went back to DLG about their claim they had discussed the letter from the other party's solicitor with me. A lady called Lorraine (one of the managers at DLG) told Laura she would listen to the telephone conversation with myself I have copied below the relevant section from Laura's letter regarding Lorraine listening into the phone call. "Lorraine has listened to the call you had with them on 10 January 2023 and has advised me the content of the letter wasn’t discussed, which wasn’t what they had told me earlier" Not only is DLG worse than useless, BUT they fabricated a conversation to someone in legal expenses to cover their own back as they didn't do their job!!!!! And this is a law firm! who lie I didn't have this information at the time of going to the Legal Ombudsman This lie only came about when the other party complained I had ignored their solicitor over a year later DLG you are a disgrace! Lets see what the Legal Ombudsman think of this Best still DLG didn't even apologise to me
