I was purchasing a house and was on a tight deadline for when I needed to move in. All of my friends told me that based on their own experiences there was no way. But Caitlin and DC Law made it happen
The task of moving & all that goes with it is pretty much a roller coaster of emotions and stressful. This is only made easier by having a Conveyancer like Christopher Stones who is professional & on piont with all that's to be dealt with. I highly recommend Christopher & should I ever need a Conveyancer DC law are the only firm i would consider. kind regards & many thanks Peter Morris.
An Excellent experience and Chris is a superb Conveyancer. He will be recommended to my family and friends.

It took us about 3-4 months to complete the sale for a leasehold property with no chain which is I believe average period here in UK, as a leasehold involves a lot more documentation. Our solicitor was Victoria and she was great at providing details over the phone and spotting small issues with the lease, there were regular updates on our case. When she was away someone swiftly took over our case and updated us when we reached out. We are grateful for all the work that has been done and we're very happy with our new home.

Frustrated, angry, annoyed, just a few words to sum up how I’m feeling. Communication is non-existent. The only time we have received any communication is when we’ve complained. It’s almost instant once we’ve complained. Emails are ignored. Phone calls go through to answerphone, leave a message and get no return call. We signed our contract and TR1 and returned them in November last year. In May we were asked to sign and return the same paperwork, they had checked the files and hadn’t received them. So what happened to them? Why ask us 6 months later for the same paperwork and not before? The conveyancer LIED over the phone about not receiving emails from the estate agent regarding progress with the rest of the solicitors in the chain, even though the estate agent had evidence of these emails that were date and time stamped. Once this was questioned the conveyancer sprang into action and gave us an update. The updated draft financial statement had incorrect figures, the mortgage amount was wrong, the proceeds of sale amount was wrong, I asked for this to be updated and this request was BLATANTLY ignored, in fact it was met with sarcastic email replies. I’ve still not received an updated statement with the correct figures. Queries that were brought up last year are only being actioned now, Indemnity policies are trying to be forced upon us even though they’re not needed. This company were recommended to us by the estate agents and from what I can gather, they’re being removed from their recommended list as we’re not the only ones to have received extremely poor service and complained. DC Law won’t care about these negative reviews, they’ll carry on ripping people off and happily take their money whilst continuing to deliver the same amount of disgustingly below sub-standard service. The people we’re buying from are talking about pulling out of the sale because they’re sick of waiting. We’ve both been ready to move since November last year, we’ve had to get a new mortgage offer with higher interest rates and endure the stamp duty rise to the tune of £2500, 6 months after the process started. I only wish I’d read reviews before I chose to go with DC Law. If you want good, honest reliable service where your conveyancer actually communicates with you, DO NOT use DC Law.

Hannah was our solicitor and was very helpful, professional, informative and responded fast. In Hannah’s absence we dealt with Kirsty who also gave the same level of service. In the last few weeks both did everything they could to finalise the sale/purchase and remained patient and professional when we were hounding them for updates every 5 mins. Wouldn’t hesitate to use DC law again in the future

The conveyor I dealt with, Iain was prompt and helpful and progressed our sale in an expedited fashion, covering all the bases needed and I was always able to get hold of him, which was critical. The portal they used made sense and wasn’t overly used instead of personal contact. I’ve sold a few houses and this process with DCLaw has been probably the smoothest yet.

Nasreen Akhtar was my solicitor when I sold my late brother's probate property. She was very friendly, helpful and efficient - all of which made the whole experience less stressful for me. A big thank you.
