Milly was very professional and helpful
Good at keeping customers up to date with changes in flights etc.
Really helpful staff who remembered me from a previous booking came back to me with a great deal further travels booked thank you Suzanne
We have used Cruise 1st on multiple occasions, so when we came to booking a 21 day cruise, transiting the Suez Canal we went straight to Cruise 1st. From the outset, we specified that as we would be onboard for 3 weeks,we needed a bigger baggage allowance. Booking made, and at the time of booking, flight details were not available. Subsequently we are advised that we fly with KLM, via Amsterdam on to Genoa from where the cruise ship departs. On closer examination we find that KLM baggage allowance is just the standard 1 case of 23kg. Speak to Cruise 1st, whose first suggestion is to buy extra baggage and Cruise 1st will reimburse us. However we then find that this isn't possible with KLM. Later another Cruise 1st agent rings cock-a-hoop as she's "solved it". We now fly with Luftansa via Munich, and the baggage allowance is TWO 23kg bags each. Excellent! Except.....we're still stuck with a reduced allowance homebound with Emirates who offer only 30kg each. So, we could take 46kg each outbound but only 30kg inbound. Customer service agent 'Kevin's unhelpful and unsympathetic. Asks if we specifically mentioned the return flights as " Cruise 1st do what they are asked". To my eyes, it's a given that if you take 40kg out with you, you naturally want to bring 40kg back home with you, but seemingly Cruise 1st expect me to discard 10/20kg of clothing as we depart the ship in Dubai. Kevin's "answer" is to upgrade the Emirates flight to "flexplus" - at a cost of £300 each. A written complaint has elicited nothing beyond an automated acknowledgement of receipt.
Very helpful with our booking, patient, and respectful.
