Excellent patient care from start to finish, more like a hotel than a hospital.

I did not like it when the MRI technician asked me why I was attending for an MRI he should have known this beforehand.
The outpatient nurses, especially the nurse with the initials I.T., were excellent. So kind and helpful. We had a really smooth, easy experience getting testing done. Very grateful to the staff. We have been multiple times to this hospital for various tests including blood and MRI and every visit is easy and smooth which makes what can be stressful, surprisingly pleasant.
The service was efficient and I was made to feel valued
No follow up call for my results. At my last appointments my results were lost and no one bothered to respond very disappointing
Seemed disorganised, rated behind NHS and HCA. For some reason didn't want a registration form filled in but it transpires that it was needed, spent more time mopping up the fall out than filling in the form would have taken, 2 phone calls and an email They don't answer the phone but constantly tell you how good they are. The MRI department needs a rocket, 4 days on and I haven't even got an appointment. The whole place has an unpleasant smell about it
Very friendly and professional service. I was able to see a consultant almost immediately, then investigations followed soon afterwards. Everything was explained clearly and in detail. There was plenty of time for discussion - it was nice not to be rushed. I felt very well cared for and in good hands. The whole experience has been fantastic!
All staff were very polite and helpful, not too much hanging around
Exceptional medical and nursing care and attention and Exceptional catering staff.
For the second time in 2 weeks, I had a late Saturday morning appointment with Mr Mohammad Ali Omar at Bishops Wood Hospital Rickmansworth cancelled at short notice. If the consultant doesn't want to work Saturday morning, why am I offered appointments only to have them cancelled? Today 24/07/27 I got an email telling me my 12.10 appointment for the 25th (tomorrow) had been cancelled and rescheduled at 23 hours notice BY EMAIL, and my appointment had been changed to 9.30am even after I told Mr Omar's secretary I couldn't guarantee to get there before 11am because of the travelling I had to do. (Around the M25.) Made no difference. I will be making a formal complaint to my NHS service provider and be asking to be sent to a different hospital. So much for private healthcare. Update: I had already been told, during a previous conversation, that although the "morning" appointment system included the two offers of 12.10pm appointments, with these appointments being confirmed in writing, the consultant was unwilling to wait for me, having no appointments after 9 (first appointment) or 10.10 (second appointment). If I couldn't attend at times to suit the consultant, my CONFIRMED appointments would be cancelled, and they were. I got a direct phone call in the afternoon of the 24th from the hospital. "Apparently" (i) the physician had to leave early today to attend what must have been an unplanned NHS workload/session in the afternoon, as his surgery seems to offer appointments until lunchtime on the dates I had been offered. Also (ii) having reviewed my case notes, an FRCS qualified Urologist with 20 years experience working in London hospitals, has decided he doesn't have suitable skills to diagnose and treat my condition. The hospital has offered a different consultant, and my (so far) slightly over 3 week wait to see a consultant, has been extended by another two weeks. Hopefully, should my condition involve a tumour, an almost 6 week delay (assuming there isn't a 3rd cancellation) doesn't adversely affect my prognosis.
Excellent all round attention given time and other patients
A pleasure to find prompt and professional assistance.
It was really good
Staff that I had contact with were respectful and caring and understanding of my needs. Just a little info for those having a barium meal. The drink is now flavoured.

Customers appreciate the fast access to services, including timely appointments and efficient procedures, often describing their experiences as seamless and reassuring. However, some individuals express dissatisfaction with appointment-related issues, such as being told to arrive early only to find departments closed or receiving conflicting information about pre-appointment requirements. A few reviewers also mention negative interactions with consultants, which detracted from their overall experience. Despite these criticisms, the majority of feedback reflects a positive sentiment towards the quality of care and the supportive environment.
