Chrysalis courses receives consistently positive reviews. Customers particularly appreciate professional and service, though some mention concerns about communication and expensive.
Sandra our tutor for year 2 has been so supportive and helpful and brings passion and knowledge in abundance. She shares so much and her feedback is thorough and thoughtful and so helpful. She's been amazing and I'm excited to continue the second half of the year and progress onto year three. Thank you so much to the staff behind the scenes and placements team too for always being ready to answer queries and help where they can.

I have been with chrysalis for 2.5 yrs, my 1st year was enjoyable, with a great tutor, my 2nd year not so much, however, on year 3 1st session in January, my current tutor gave me structure, with slideshows & video clips to explain in more depth and giving examples of the different topics, I have thoroughly enjoyed my first 5 modules as I am a visual learner, the guidance given is great by Sarah Jones and she is a real fit for our group, I am looking forward to the rest of my final year with Chrysalis
I have had a great experience training with Chrysalis. The pluralistic content of the course has been very interesting and I believe has put me in good stead for my future as a counsellor. Most beneficial to my experience though is my tutor, Martina. Martina is incredibly knowledgeable, always puts us at ease, fills us with confidence and gives valuable feedback.

I am in my second year, and there is no clear focus. The sessions barely cover the surface, and it's a very much teach yourself course. I wouldn't recommend studying with Chysalis. I wish i had researched the course more before I started as now I can't get out of it..

What went wrong? Well we had two tutors the first one gave us all the wrong information. She made the course seem so simple and laid back. When the next tutor came in we had a shock when we realized the previous information was wrong. As with most of adult education you expect it to be self directed learning. On the flip side of that you also expect when in class you would learn something new to go away with and work on. The class was just a case of going over the class notes that we had already read in the morning. Then in the afternoon you had to practice the skills you had learnt. The problem was we didn't actually learn anything enough to feel confident. So if you are going on the level 3 Hypnotherapy course. Be prepared to mostly learn yourself and the actual.class is very repetitive and quite boring Could I practice as a Hypnotherapist yes but that is mainly down to being self taught. Other than that it's an ok course

Having read the reviews with concern, I am sadly no longer considering Chrysalis. This is an industry made up of people, about people, for people and should be respected and valued as such.

I am still training at the moment, on the Hypnotherapy course, but I am enjoying it immensely. Everything has been so straightforward and well organised, from my application, interview and whilst on the course. Would definitely recommend Chrysalis and this course has been so informative and so enjoyable.

Enjoying the course material and what we cover a lot. The sessions are very engaging and our tutor has the right balance of theoretical knowledge vs practical application. Our group is very supportive which makes the whole learning journey a lot easier.

I am 3 modules in to a Hypnotherapy & Counselling course in Edinburgh. Our first module was a very positive in-class experience; our second module was supposed to be another face to face class but ended up having to be online instead because of bad weather; and our third online module had to be cancelled altogether at the last possible minute due to storm Eowyn and our tutor having no electricity. As a class we were only informed about cancellation via a WhatsApp group set up by students for study purposes - no official message came through to any of us. As this storm was predicted many days ago, I think Chrysalis really should have had contingency measures in place. Their communication with us as students has been nil regarding this matter. Very disappointing after such a positive start...
