Buyers beware On collection the car wasn't as described. The car needs a full respray. Pics of the car were taken and sent to car & classic. Nothing has been done. This is now in the hands of my solicitors. Stay clear

5-star service except for one little niggle...

This is the second time I have purchased on C&C and if it was not just for one little niggle with the process I would give them 5 stars. The niggle is not even C&C's responsibility. My bank, NatWest, actually refused to pay my money into the escro account. I had to transfer my money into my wife's Nationwide account and they had a 'I accept the risk' button to push on-line. I suggest that C&C make a short document that buyers can use to convince NatWest (maybe others) that the Escro account process protects the buyer.

Car and Classic have now sold about a dozen cars for me. The photography and copy writing is first class. The advice and guidance about how to price a car and crucially to set and adjust the reserve to stimulate interest worked a treat on the car I sold recently.
