Buyers beware On collection the car wasn't as described. The car needs a full respray. Pics of the car were taken and sent to car & classic. Nothing has been done. This is now in the hands of my solicitors. Stay clear

I have dealt with Car and Classic on a couple of occasions and always found them very helpful and pleasant. At first I found it strange having to pay money to another company but it was soon explained and it really works well. I have just today received a classic motorcycle which I won in the auction and when it arrived, it was fantastic. Top marks, that says it all.

Failure to hit Price
I was persuaded to remove my reserve price on the basis that in previous auctions this has generated increased interest and a higher price. This did not happen and whilst I understood the risks involved, I was disappointed that the price I sold the car for was significantly lower than my reserve price. It was disappointing that the commission arrangements were not properly discounted.
