Buyers beware On collection the car wasn't as described. The car needs a full respray. Pics of the car were taken and sent to car & classic. Nothing has been done. This is now in the hands of my solicitors. Stay clear

Great all round auction selling experience
Plenty of good advice before and during the auction. Once the car was sold clear and regular updates and instructions regarding the handover plus secure escrow deposit of the purchase price.

Fully refunded for an unpleasant experience.
I had made an offer on what I thought was my dream car, but unfortunately the vehicle was not as advertised- leading me to request a cancellation. Car and Classic gave me a full refund, including the non refundable buyers fee as a good will gesture. I should have viewed the car first in person before making an offer, however the advertisement made the vehicle look and sound much better than in reality. Lesson learned! (I believe I was lucky I was able to cancel and be refunded due to the sellers' false advertisement) Fantastic communication and support by the team at Car and Classic.

A good choice of vehicles I am interested in , an easy platform to use, it seems the payment methods seem secure. Negatives: Auctions draws out to long after the last bid & the charges are expensive. Overall still a good platform to find rarer vehicles than the normal ones

Seamless process
The whole process ran extremely well. A large number of Interested bidders both bid and contacted me through the portal in the days before. The opportunity to upload further photos and add extra detail was a really useful option to support the sale. Leading into the last 20 mins when bidding really stepped up, the site then supported bidders without any glitches and delays. After a the successful bid well above reserve was taken, again a seamless transfer took place giving myself and the buyer confidence in the process.
