I booked a flight a flight to Canada for august 2025 with alternative airlines the same day i wanted to cancel it I tried to get get a refund they refused as I did not tick the box to ensure I got my refund I have lost £1.461.76 I’m not happy about it

Horrible refund policy! Couldn’t get a full refund of my money for a flight that was accidentally purchased. Their refund policy is ridiculous will only give you a full refund if you have an actual reason to give for a refund which I do my plans for this trip have changed and I had to cancel the flight. Really upset with this company, never gonna purchase a one way ticket from them again.
Warning: Do NOT purchase from this website — it’s a scam. Even if you pay the extra $218 for flight insurance, they will not honor it. The option to purchase insurance through this company is misleading — you're essentially paying extra for a third-party service that doesn't actually exist. They will refuse to issue a full refund or credit, even when the insurance should cover it. Save yourself the money and headache — book directly through your airline instead.
