I booked a flight a flight to Canada…

I booked a flight a flight to Canada for august 2025 with alternative airlines the same day i wanted to cancel it I tried to get get a refund they refused as I did not tick the box to ensure I got my refund I have lost £1.461.76 I’m not happy about it
