I had an extremely frustrating experience with Alternative Airlines. I booked a flight and paid for it, only to receive a message saying the ticket would be issued in 45 minutes. After over an hour of waiting, I was told the booking couldn’t be completed unless I paid more — after already locking in a price and making payment. They offered two unacceptable options: cancel the booking or pay an additional amount via a new payment link. This is completely misleading and unprofessional. Cancelling the flight just hours before departure left me scrambling to find an alternative. Their process feels like a bait-and-switch — get you with a lower fare, take your money, and then ask for more. I do not recommend using this service. Avoid the stress and go directly through the airlines or more reputable platforms.
